The warm summer breeze blows around the clothesline
Distantly, it reminds me of Cefiro by Floris, and also of CK one.

This light summer breeze, which first swept through the citrus grove, has, however, taken a full clothesline with it before it reached me.

A blend of Cefiro and Clear.

Laundry Detergent
Clear a name with a clear message, as clear as the scent itself.

A light cute chemical club.
A mix of flowers and musk notes that I find undefinable.

A scent for fabric softener fetishists.

Not for me, that's for sure.

However, the fragrance does have one positive aspect. It lasts forever.
Hmm, not really a positive aspect...

Lavender Scent 6/3
Part 6, Pour Un Homme de Caron is indeed a lavender scent, but it is the fragrance (from my test and comment series) where lavender is the least dominant.

It starts fresh and green, lavender accompanied by citrus oils.
It becomes woodier (just slightly woody) and a bit spicier. The freshness disappears and makes way for a balsamic background.

A man's cologne for the French.

Old school and good.

Lavender Scent 5/3
Follow 5/3 of the lavender scent commentary series.

I smell a taste of heaven and try to relate it to the predecessors of the lavender series.

A Taste of Heaven has a slightly herbal green scent with a warm undertone and a little floral wink.

I find it significantly more modern than the previous installments (except for Oxford & Cambridge, which, contrary to the suggestion of its name, feels very modern).

The lively fresh opening of lavender, orange blossoms, and a bit of citrus oil is followed by an increasingly cozy base note, into which the lavender blends until the scent fades.

One of the most successful fragrances from L'Oeuvre Noir and one of the best lavender scents I know.

Lavender Scent 4/3
After a break, part four of the lavender trilogy finally follows, my commentary series on fragrances where lavender is the central note.

Gravel - A piece of rock in the surf. As unchanged and unalterable as the scent has remained, so stable and steadfast is the label.

A sturdy, simple bottle.
A sturdy, simple name.
A Man's Cologne

Black on white.

Decoration on the bottle? Nonsense! Sprayer? Toy! Marketing and advertising? Superfluous!

Whether the scent accompanies you while you cross the African continent along the coast from north to south in a VW bus, or whether you fly across the Atlantic (in a suit), whether you ride a bike through the countryside or drive to work in a car, Gravel is always a good, fitting, loyal companion.

The scent is unobtrusive and comforting but also a bit distinctive and "rocky" (?).
Gravel is simply timeless.

The subtitle is indeed very fitting, but that does not mean, in my opinion, that the scent must be reserved for men.

Just as the scent surrounds and accompanies the wearer, the woods and resins accompany the lavender in the fragrance. Just as the creator has not changed the scent since its inception, the scent does not change while wearing it.
