So far the best Lattafa
I have tested several Lattafa perfumes. So far, all of them had to move on. But this one gets to stay. A very pleasing, fruity, and creamy scent. A pleasant sweetness. Somehow also clean. Extremely well balanced. Nothing is off. It leans a bit more towards the feminine side for me, just like Erba Pura. However, I definitely prefer this one over Erba Pura. So far, I have only smelled something comparably good from Arabian Oud (Madawi 40 Years Gold Edition). However, that one also costs 15 times more :D.

The Parfumo community can be quite harsh sometimes :D
In my opinion, a score of 6.7 is too low for this fragrance. Yes, it’s not a standout highlight in my eyes, and yes, it may not be something "new"/"special," but where can you even find that on a regular basis anymore? All the fragrances that have recently entered the blue store haven’t sparked any Aha moments for me. In fact, I found most of them mediocre to poor. I also don’t compare fragrances based on others in the line, by brand, or by price, but primarily by scent. And I don’t care if it’s a flanker or if it has a completely new name. On Fragrantica, this fragrance has a score of 3.96, which would correspond to a 7.9 on Parfumo. But enough wondering...
To me, the scent is fresh and citrusy, and above all, masculine. Not really shower gel. And thank God it’s not like a toilet cleaner, such as Bvlgari Man Neroli. It’s not mega modern, but rather old school with a modern twist. I would recommend it more for those in their late 20s and up. YSL Y, ADG Profondo, or Sauvage smell much more synthetic to me than this one. In a comparison test with a young lady, this one even won against YSL Y and Profondo. I was surprised myself. I thought it was just me.
In the first 1-2 hours, the perfume is constantly in my nose. So, it has very strong performance. Therefore, don’t spray too much. It can quickly become overpowering. After that, it decreases linearly, and after about 6 hours, it’s pretty much gone from the skin. On clothes, it lasts significantly longer. All in all, it’s a good average for an EDT. The poor sillage and longevity that many complain about here, I can’t confirm. It’s quite surprising that it varies so much. Maybe a batch problem? Reformulation? IDK. For me, this fragrance sometimes lasts longer than an EDP from other designer summer scents. Let’s see what the new perfume has to offer. It’s already available at Müller for the MSRP. They just don’t have the tester yet :D.
The bottle serves its purpose, even though I don’t like this plastic cap. It doesn’t match the heavy glass at all.

Spicebomb Extreme with Less Extreme - I like
Today, by chance, I received a sample from the nice employee at Müller and fell in love right from the start.
In the opening, I initially thought of Mercedes Benz Select Night. But without the penetrating sweetness. A lovely spice. I don't perceive citrus, but rather cinnamon. The first impression really pleased me. And since Select Night is very linear, I didn't think much more of it.
An hour later, I sniffed my arm again and was positively surprised. The sweet spice recedes just the right amount, and a wonderful vanilla note comes to the fore. And then I immediately thought of Spicebomb Extreme, which has a similar progression. But I actually prefer this one in the drydown. The vanilla in Spicebomb Extreme was too overpowering for me. Here, it is perfectly balanced for me. However, this is only on my skin. On the test strip, it smells more like the Spicebomb EDT in the drydown.
If Spicebomb Extreme is too extreme for you and you also like the Spicebomb EDT, then this one is just right for you.

A Stepbrother of Viktor and Rolf?
There are only 2 fragrances from the drugstore that have really convinced me. Both by Otto Kern. The Beyond Horizon and the Ultimate Black EDP (new 2023).
The Beyond Horizon is clearly inspired by the Spicebombs for me. Something between the original and the Infrared. However, the spiciness fades a bit more into the background over time compared to the Spicebombs, and it becomes a bit more gourmand. Personally, I really like gourmand scents, so for me, that's even a plus compared to the mentioned Spicebombs.
The Beyond Horizon projects a bit less strongly than the Spicebombs. But at that price, it's totally acceptable.
Longevity is fine for an EDT. Typical for a spicy fragrance, 6-8 hours on the skin is realistic. On clothes, significantly longer.
Price-performance is a full 10. At currently 300€/l at Flaconi, simply phenomenal.
Definitely a buying recommendation. And the great thing is, you can test it beforehand in the drugstore.
