turquoise blue feeling of happiness - without “I don’t want that”
Since I started to delve deeper into fragrances, I have been searching for the one that brings me feelings of happiness. What it should be like? I simply don’t know. I only know what I don’t want ️.
I just don’t like those typical women’s fragrances: floral, fruity, loved by men, always popular, top 10 and bestseller list bottles.
A description of my dream scent - and this makes my search difficult - now looks like this:
Not floral. Not fruity.
Not overpowering, but still noticeable.
Not too sweet. Not too citrusy. Not too bitter. not too…
Pleasant, but not boring.
Not too demanding, but a little something special is allowed.
Not too feminine. Not too masculine.
And my husband must not, as so often, wrinkle his nose.
A fragrance that fits these “I don’t want that” descriptions?! That is present?! Airy, unisex, exciting, spicy-soft, clear and zesty, and still lovingly envelops me?!
In search of this,
Armani Privé - Bleu Turquoise came to me through a sharing.
Within days, the sample was used up. It has a long lasting power (from the very beginning a “I like”) and I can perceive this unusual scent on my skin for at least 8 hours. No one has managed that so far.
And yesterday, this beautiful bottle joined my small collection.
My first 10/10 for
Armani Privé - Bleu Turquoise.

her perfume lingers in the room
I close my eyes and immediately I see her before me. This cool blonde. A seductive glance. A top hat playfully placed on her curls. Cool in a tailcoat. Unique. Marlene Dietrich. The cigarette carelessly resting between her lips. She strolls through the venue. Touches an arm here. Smiles at someone there. Distant. Her perfume lingers in the room. A mix of home and exoticism. Damp asphalt and foreign spices. Definitely a scent like her - cool, seductive, stylish, and a bit cheeky.

this can only be one, three very special qualities
This fragrance is solely associated with:
1. Many years ago, I actually chased after a woman… and asked her about her perfume. Pour Femme.
2. Anyone who opens my desk drawer sees it. Pour Femme. There will always only be this bottle in there.
3. I have repurchased this fragrance several times.
And here are the reasons:
1. Freshly sprayed (and she had that) it is present, but not intrusive. It is perceived positively. You smell like a Femme.
2. It is absolutely suitable for the office, but doesn’t last long; reapplying is possible. I wouldn’t subject my colleagues to any other perfume.
3. It is unobtrusive, suitable for everyday wear, powdery-floral, and envelops me gently. I feel comfortable, in a good way, secure.
Pour Femme, you are my long-time companion, who I hope will only leave me when I retire ;-)

magnificent deep red rock against a dark blue sky
The dark orange sun hangs low on the horizon, with anthracite sand dunes in the foreground and a deep red, purplish mountain range rising against an indigo blue sky. A play of colors that is as difficult to describe as this scent.
Perhaps the description "slightly oriental" fits, although the fragrance does not feel heavy in the air, but rather light, interesting, and unobtrusive.
At first, it is wonderfully peppery, then a delicate spiciness comes into play, and later I perceive honey and vanilla.
The longevity is high; even the next morning, the scent of sweet, peppery spices lingers in the air. And I would love to see a crimson sun rise in the desert.

the beautiful feeling of being unique
Recently, a colleague in the hallway: “mmmh, what perfume are you wearing?” I hesitate: “oh, I don’t remember exactly.” Of course, I know that I reached for my red-gold bottle this morning - after all, I’ve felt so special, so unique all day long.
With every movement, I am enveloped by a sugary sweet scent that transports me to a colorful candy store. This sweet fragrance is not chocolate, not dessert. More like a room entirely in pink, filled with colorful candy canes in all the colors of the rainbow. And lots of pink. Not cheesy. I feel like a mysterious princess wrapped in luminous silk, strolling through the fairground, not needing to buy cotton candy because I smell so wonderful myself.
When I leave my office in this sugary sweet, shimmering attire and drift through the crowded shopping streets of the big city, I encounter other princes and princesses. I would love to be all alone with Baccarat Rouge in this world. Safe, comforted. I worry that this perfume will lose its magic in the crowd.
But soon I am back in the office - in my castle, right next to the funfair. And as I walk down the halls there, I leave behind colorful sweet scents and feel wonderful - and unique.
