Because in the end, you want to stand out a bit and not just be one of many leathery rum barrels with sandalwood application and bergamot heads.
Summarized in one sentence, I would describe the fragrance as follows: imagine you are in the 17th century on a rum cutter from the Caribbean towards Europe, go below deck and walk past the old, weather-beaten, smoking captain. That's what you smell. Important: The captain may not be 20 anymore, but he doesn't have 40 years under his belt, either.

The fragrance was a half blind purchase. I have times by chance used the Tabac deodorant stick and found the scent very pleasant and so I got me then the cologne to.

And what can I say, on indecisive evenings, this is exactly my Ausgehduft. Today was one of these evenings. After a long abstinence, it should be a beer garden in Munich, in the end it was with some brought beers of the Flaucher.

Wow! Right after the order, the coconut hits me as if it had fallen from the palm tree directly onto my skull. That's intense. One spray is enough to spend half a day in a synthetic Caribbean fragrance cloud - I like.

Definitely not a men's fragrance to go out the door, but if you like sweet, sticky coconut feeling, then man is right here. The coconut is joined by a banana-like pungent scent at the beginning, which is unpleasant for the first few minutes, but then falls back more and more behind the coconut and finally harmonizes with it. In any case it is not pure coconut.

All in all a strenuous but pleasant fragrance that you have to like. If you like it, it is a force, albeit a synthetic force
