Favorite fragrance - fresh and warm
For 2 summers now, it has been my favorite fragrance. Starting in autumn, I put it away, then I can wait for summer again. In my opinion, it doesn't really fit the cold season. But you can certainly wear it then, whenever you want to be reminded of warmth in summer.
What I really perceive is that it reminds me of the sea and the beach, of the feeling of nature, not at all of sunscreen and heat; I don't have that association with it.
Fresh and warm might seem like a contradiction, but anyone who stands by the sea in summer knows that it isn't; it could also be a warm summer evening.
In my opinion, it is totally successful in evoking this memory, and it’s not just me who has noticed it; I’ve been told, "you smell like a vacation by the sea."
I don't find the scent boring; it’s also important to me that a fragrance is pleasant to wear, and for that, it doesn't have to be too striking or too mysterious. I prefer something that is pleasing and comfortable in the long run because a fragrance should complement, not replace!
I would say it’s a fragrance for natural, cheerful women and suitable for almost any age.
(PS: I can't deny its similarity to Jil Sander Sport Water - or vice versa. Since there are hardly any additives to the scent, one could try if it works with Jil Sander Sport Water, e.g., body lotion.)

even if artificial, still pleasant
... suddenly I craved this scent, I often found it too heavy before. - I was looking for a fragrance that captures what one feels when coming out of the shower - with a warm scent - from the bath, and that should linger.
Somehow the fragrance has for me this: Something of soap and cleanliness, still coming from the warm bath ...
Indeed, it smells a bit artificial, but I think that’s true for almost all fragrances, as they are.
There are so many fragrances, good, well-known, expensive, that I don’t like at all, because certain essences in them don’t appeal to me or I only perceive unpleasant extracts for myself.
So it can surely be the same for many with Le Bain.
Of all the Joop fragrances, I find this one the least typical of the Joop style; with Joop Femme, I find it much more so, it immediately reminds me of JOOP and the 80s.
And indeed, it is true: There is hardly a fragrance that everyone likes,
Above all, one should like it themselves, feel comfortable with it.
And especially with Le Bain, one should be careful with the dosage, a hint is enough here.
A cloud of perfume I find also dreadful, even if I like the scent, .. it should only flutter over to me and others from time to time. Not easy to achieve, sometimes too much, sometimes too little.
Too much is simply unpleasant if others don’t like a scent, and that can happen, Le Bain could count among the less appealing ones.
