If you don't want any more fragrances, hands off trying!
In search of a somewhat fresher scent, I come across Amo, a sample that has been lying around for a while, unnoticed; I must have confused it with Emozione, which disappears on me immediately, unfortunately.
I try to see if this one might be fresh, oh - that’s not quite right, but not too far off either. Blackcurrants, rhubarb... and indeed Campari - wow! The scent gives a kick.
Especially in the first few minutes, the freshness is noticeable. Yes, and the Campari is so bitter-fresh. I haven't had that in ages - now inhaled, careful, this is dangerous, because: I didn't want any new fragrances anymore, most samples are way too mainstream... This one is not!
Oh how wonderfully balanced it is. Only if you pay close attention can you discover the individual essences, and depending on the time, one or another more or less.
I also find rosemary to be exceptional, although it is rarely present.
Yes, exceptional is the word for me, this scent is so perceptible, the longevity is really good, with over 7 hours truly present, and it changes beautifully. Towards the end, it becomes spicier; I think I can find rosemary in it, also vanilla, but not cheap vanilla, a depth that allows rosemary and blackcurrant and even rhubarb to still shine through. Really :-) just take a deeper breath and waft it if you had it near your décolletage.
Somehow, everything is always there, even the good old musky (Ambrox?) and surely in the end, sandalwood accompanies more and more. All the ingredients come together in the end to form a spicy potpourri like a fine dessert, not overly sweet at all. I also find it suitable for the office, it just depends on the type and indeed less dosed - And now I have to spray again after several hours, just like that, I want to experience the beginning once more :-)

Here is where opinions diverge, or whoever, I won't diverge!
I've been circling around the Simply EdP and Edt for a long, long time; aside from samples and the small tubes of body lotion, it never came to me. Actually, I already have enough and do I really need another Jil Sander?
The crazy thing is, for Jil Sander fragrances (and Chloé), I get the most comments, mostly positive ones. Usually, nothing is said about the fragrance I'm wearing, which I often find a pity, but when it is said - and then positively, it's usually about these.
So, I finally got to the Eau de Parfum, - I WANTED the Eau de Toilette, after all the comments I felt more inclined towards that, my little sample said so too. - So it ended up being the black-gold Simply, through a swap where we didn't communicate clearly enough ;-).
And now it's mine, and it is simply a really, really great scent on me.
Herb? No, it is not herbaceous on me. It is a bit dark, right from the start, maybe it's the violet leaf.
And in the background, after a few minutes, I sense the mandarin, but not so fresh, rather a warm softness, without being too sweet, maybe more like mandarin peel, that describes it better.
"Iris, musk, nutmeg, cedar" - I can't really name them individually, it's too well composed for that, but I totally believe in this heart note.
I find all of this hardly season-dependent - well, maybe not on a hot summer day, but otherwise... It just envelops me in such a pleasant floral quality that is not dominant, not too floral, and the woods don't immediately remind one of a forest, just a bit of the closeness to a pleasant wood, - cedar and nutmeg? You have to come to that, but: Together they can express that.
And the violet gives the floral aspect, surely the mandarin is still a bit present and the musk adds warmth, but it is strong in the background. I love musk scents, so I'm glad it's there.
And then after a few hours? The vanilla remains well hidden in the background, and for me, it is only the vanilla of the dark black pod, which you know too, not the overly intense vanilla sugar.
Patchouli is in almost all the fragrances I really like, even though I don't quite know how it actually smells.
In any case, in the end, there is something noble, deep, warm, and yes, it will also be the leather. For me, it is not dominant, maybe that will change in autumn and winter. But it is more like this still beautifully old leather jacket that never became musty, but is no longer new, the classic one you can't part with.
Everything is now close to the body, after about 6 hours, and I'm a bit tempted to spray again. Just be careful, not too much, .. that happened to me and I thought I should have left it. Next time more caution or just use the body lotion.
So I found a fragrance that could easily become my signature scent. My husband likes it very much, by the way, and I'm curious about any outside comments soon.
It hasn't been long in my collection, but it will surely stay, and I owe that to the lovely "Supi" who almost accidentally gave it to me.
So I advocate for this beautiful scent - it is certainly not for young women, but that depends on the type. Anyone who considers themselves older can't go wrong ;-) - whenever that is - from 40, 50 .. 70? If it fits, then it can be a wonderful scent - pleasing but not boring, with many little facets, equally wearable with jeans as well as stylish or even elegant. I mean, it just adapts!

Roses, Roses, Roses, the little ones
Yes, it really has something. I sprayed it on today and at first I really missed the Chloé, which didn’t come back, but roses came, more and more roses, and somehow they are quite beautiful. This rosy scent has already lasted 6 hours on me. I can really almost only smell roses, but I already mentioned that. And again, a rose is never just a rose; it is always something more, and it also depends on which one. - For me, clearly these tea roses, does that mean anything to you? I imagine them to be a salmon pink, definitely not just pink, well, like the bottle probably, a bit stronger but still.
I mean a summer scent, a clear one, for flower lovers, especially for those of the little roses, which last so long, even in the vase and look so cozy, so romantic, but still have their own style. Am I now a rose? Such a one? I don’t know, but I do enjoy sniffing it, for hours now, again and again... are there roses lying around here somewhere? No, it’s just me! The Chloé that you don’t recognize this time, but that’s okay!

Finally not so intrusive or just fresh, no, a hint of... see below.
I was sitting with a nice man I know in a bar recently, and I kept sniffing around me. .... "What smells so fantastic here? ... It's a bit oriental, so warm, slightly sweet... is it the waitress here? I'll ask right away what it is..., is there a scented candle lit?... " I even got up to check if it was somehow coming from the decoration placed next to us. - No, it wasn't the waiter or waitress. - The young man across from me then said, "I told you, it's me :-D, and you should know it, YOU gave it to me some time ago!!"
Ha, how wonderful, what beautiful gifts I give.
I must say that I am quite sensitive when it comes to fragrances for men; I don't like many of them at all. Too harsh, too intrusive, way too spicy. But of course, that's always a matter of taste.
Since my partner at home hardly wears any fragrances, I hardly know anything in this area. To give a gift, I have to dig deeper into the family.
And occasionally, I do notice some fantastic fragrances on other men that suit them perfectly; so far, I haven't dared to just ask them what they are wearing, probably a shame. - I am more drawn to warm scents, just subtle, but still noticeable. I found just such a fragrance at Signatur when I was searching and getting advice in the perfume department of a department store, where I usually feel completely overwhelmed.
Honestly, I liked it so much that on my way home, I kept sniffing my wrist that I thought this is a men's fragrance I would even wear as a woman.
At first, it is fresh, like many fragrances; a very light, pleasant spiciness unfolds, I then perceive something slightly floral, but just a little. And as a base, mixed with the previously described, this wonderful warmth remains. Cinnamon, just a little cinnamon, a bit of dark cocoa, and everything accompanied by an oriental hint that wafts over from time to time.
In my opinion, all notes also make brief appearances while wearing it. I tested this again by spraying it on myself once more.
I find the scent absolutely suitable for autumn and winter, although the wearer of the fragrance told me he has worn it in summer as well, then in the evening, and has received inquiries about it from time to time.
It's best not to mention that this is actually a really affordable fragrance that you can also get at Rossmann and DM. Not everyone needs to know that.
Isn't it wonderful? This makes it affordable even for younger people. Although I don't really find it age-dependent.
Something like this, not intrusive yet memorable, I can only recommend. Are other fragrances from Otto Kern like this too?
So if you know of similar-sounding fragrances, please let me know what they are called so I can give something nice again :-)

		Wonderful yet undiscovered beauty
Chloe, Chloe, for me there was always just the memory of the old Chloe from back in the day, which wasn't my thing. That's probably why I always ran past it.
I had a sample lying around for a while, I think I used it once on a trip, throwing a few samples into my bag to avoid carrying a large bottle of something, only to realize later, what smells so good here... I think I even forgot that it was Chloe that day. -And then it came back into my hands some time ago.
My goodness, it smells so good. So soft, so floral without me really being able to pick out a specific flower (there are several, after all). The first few minutes I don't find particularly special, but then... it’s just there, it’s creamy. For me, it doesn’t have that clean-fabric-softener character, no, it’s this slightly creamy quality that simply surrounds me wonderfully, with a feeling of luxurious care, more than a Nivea cream or something like that.
And I don't find much similarity with Moment de Bonheur from YR, a little yes, the roses, but the roses are much more prominent in Bonheur. And Bonheur just doesn’t last long on me.
Chloe lasts and stays and gets better and better, eventually the woods come in, light floral woods that are creamy and - clingy, - yes, exactly that’s what I like about Chloe - they caress me. Nothing here is too sweet for me.
This scent is so feminine to me without being overpowering. It’s not for sports, for a march to the supermarket, etc., maybe not even for the normal workday, for that I take Moment de Bonheur, the little sister, who is playful, fresh, and doesn’t have that maturity yet.
I have to have Chloe, it’s wonderful, so wonderful that I haven’t felt this way about a fragrance in a long time. I hope it remains this long-lasting.
Oh, oh, dear Chloe, that you lay unnoticed in my little basket in the closet for so long, unbelievable.
