Roma was one of my first fragrances, back when I was a teenager. I must have been about 17 years old. I got it as a birthday present from a friend who usually gave it to his mother.
I had no idea about perfume and fragrances back then. I just liked it, it was great for the time. Sweet and different, like the things that were so fashionable in 1997. I found it timeless and beautiful.
As part of the nostalgia, I bought it again for my collection.
I am confused. Didn't it smell a bit different back then? It's so pungent and alcoholic at the beginning. Where has that special something gone? The round fruity-synthetic?
It's much scratchier. And only then does that familiar DNA appear. What a pity. Perhaps nostalgia and memory are simply deceiving me?

Unfortunately, our first attempt was a flop. I had one sample and I found you pungent and unpleasant. Far too sour and indefinable.
Now, I have to say that my taste in fragrances changes from time to time, and back then we didn't go together at all.
In the meantime, I have expanded my fragrance cosmos to include a love of roses.
And lo and behold, you get another chance.
Once you get over the bad start, which I still find pungent and unpleasant, you are rewarded with a bright, clean rose. This gets its refreshing character from lychee and rhubarb. And a subtle woody note at the end. But the rose remains present the whole time.
Dear Delina, you are and will remain a B-list celebrity. First on everyone's lips, then on trash TV. And in the end, a few people will remember you. You are pretty, but unfortunately not unique. Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame.

Hello, you lovely yellow lemon cake. Fluffy and round.
You are so sweet and delicious in your cake tin.
Your lemon icing smiles sunnily in the warm kitchen.
Your vanilla radiates seductively, sometimes here, sometimes there.
Small clouds fly nobly by and gently caress my nose.

Unfortunately, my expectations fell into the well with the child of the blind purchase.
It's rare for me to be so disappointed. It's really crassly chemical and strange. I can't even put my finger on it. Otherwise exactly my thing. But this one is really not wearable. Unless you want a seat to yourself on the train, a compartment..... a carriage.
The durability and sillage are mega good.
Practical as a bathroom spray when the cat has made a stink in the bathroom. It drowns out everything.
We're not going to be friends. Sorry.

Smells similar to Vanilla Bean Noel from BBW. A little strange at first, kind of chemically spicy. That fades quickly. And then you have a sweet, buttery caramel scent. And although it's not listed, there's something fruity next to it. Maybe something strawberry? Strawberry soap? But only in the background.
It really performs well for a body spray. Some perfumes can only look on in shame.
It lasts a really long time on textiles.
