My lemony first love
I Love Love is the first 'real' perfume I ever bought, with my own money in high school, so it's always going to have a special place in my heart— and in my collection.

Scent: The opening is very fresh, very citrusy, almost sour— a realistic lemon. This might be too strong for some people, but I love it, because I like smelling like a lemon. Also, I'm pretty sure this perfume has solidified my love for citrus scents in general, haha. It dries down to a softer scent, though, once the lemon has petered out. I can't identify all the notes individually, but it smells woody and spicy and just… good. Definitely a summer scent, very youthful. Good for everyday use too. 10/10.

Longevity: The lemon doesn't last long, but I feel like citrus scents just don't last long in general, so I don't much mind it. The heart and base notes stick around, though, for 4 to 6 hours. 7/10.

Bottle: Ok I know it looks goofy but I personally LOVE the bottle. The Olive Oyl shape, the contrast between blue and orange details, and the 'splotchy' design… they're iconic to me. I just wish they didn't put 'I LOVE LOVE' around the neck of the bottle, haha. 8/10.

Value for money: If you buy it online instead of in a mall or perfume shop, this actually has really good value for money. It's tough enough for an EDT and it smells fresh and nice. Like I said, I like smelling like a lemon, and this is a cheaper alternative to, say, Maison Margiela's Under the Lemon Trees. 9/10.
