"Excuse me, don't we know each other from somewhere?"
Once upon a time, there was a shopping-crazed man who went to the turquoise giant to buy himself a truly terrible man. When the shopping-crazed man arrived at the giant, he saw the new "VINTAGE BLACK" by Kenneth Cole.
The shopping-crazed man already thought "BLACK" by Kenneth Cole was great, had also blindly bought "REACTION," so he thought to himself "pack it up, take it with me, can't go wrong"...
At the checkout of the turquoise giant, an evil dragon bared its teeth and hissed "With this fragrance, you also get a watch." The man thought great "I still have to buy rolls afterwards, let's see if I get underwear as a gift with the rolls at the bakery."
But the evil dragon only looked so evil because it was hiding behind 2cm thick war paint. The dragon crawled into its cave and came back 2 minutes later with a noble Kenneth Cole men's wristwatch and packed it with the fragrance into a bag.
So dear children, that was the fairy tale of how the shopping-crazed man got 30ml of VINTAGE BLACK and a men's watch for 24.95 euros. And right NOW, the fairy tale turns into a love story:
"Excuse me, don't we know each other from somewhere?" shot through my mind when I sprayed the fragrance for the first time at home. KENZO pour Homme! THAT's it...
The top note immediately reminds me of KENZO pour Homme with its freshness. WONDERFUL. Sounds silly, but it's true: Among all the uniformity in the fragrance water paradise, finally a scent with recognition value, even if it's that of KENZO pour Homme.
The top note had (as the word suggests) immediately turned my head, but it gets even stronger: My heart was also conquered, through tequila and lavender (wonderful heart note). The fragrance base finally allows me to do what I could never do with KENZO pour Homme, namely wear the scent anytime and anywhere. What overwhelmed everyone around with KENZO is allowed by VINTAGE BLACK.
VINTAGE BLACK is for ME, purely subjectively, the everyday variant of KENZO pour Homme. If I had to describe the fragrance with a single situation, it would be like this: Morning, 8 AM at the beach. By the Atlantic. Take a deep breath and recharge for the day. The sea air pushes you, cleans all the airways, and for no apparent reason, you suddenly feel great and content.
I'll stop here NOW, otherwise, the fairy tale and the love story will turn into a telenovela!

Things Can Only Get Better...
Kylie has already said everything there is to say about INVERSE with "Things can only get better" on her 1990s album:
"Make up your mind and don't believe
It's bad news everywhere
Take your time and look around
Because there's something in the air..."
Unfortunately, there really is something in the air, namely a truly awful scent. After applying it, I immediately asked myself: "Can scents sing?"
I heard a faint voice in my ear singing "Run away, run away and save your life" and the voice got louder... Only after about 15 minutes did it get better.
Either the top notes had become less intrusive, or I was in some sort of shock state.
Nothing against Miss Minogue, and especially "Sexy Darling" really works (in my opinion) wonderfully on the female part of our population, but INVERSE smells truly dreadful. It's almost impossible to be more artificial, intrusive, and cheap.
My 50ml "INVERSE" is now flying away, "Where the wild roses grow"...

Short and Sweet...
"Boss in Motion Edition IV" comes to my nose like the classic "Boss in Motion" with a touch of "HUGO".
Very pleasant, not too heavy, fits every outfit and every situation. It was a "bycatch" during a bargain purchase. A scent I no longer want to miss.
If you don't like "In Motion" and "Hugo": DO NOT READ FURTHER :-)
I find both "In Motion" for its sportiness and "HUGO" for its casual "suit compatibility" great. Therefore, "Boss in Motion Edition IV" forms a great symbiosis for me.

To be, or not to be....
Describing B*Men is very brief:
The top note for me is like a shopping trip in the fruit section. I perceive an indefinable citrus freshness that disappears after just about a minute. I walk straight through the fruit section to the spice shelf. In my nose, B*Men quickly turns into A*Men
After the spice shelf, I urgently need to buy chocolate...
What I really perceive from B*Men are the classic A*Men components: honey, jasmine, coffee, lily of the valley, patchouli, tar, cedar, amber, benzoin, caramel, musk, chocolate, tonka bean, vanilla...
And now here it comes: I find A*Men truly exceptionally great, so how could I not like B*Men. A milestone in fragrance history...
(Anyone who doesn't know A*Men yet should test B*Men first as a "gateway drug," since the minimally fruity opening provides a little grace period until the typical A*Men scent overwhelms you)

Tested, loved, and bought.
After applying it, a vacation feeling shot through my mind in the form of a wonderfully light coconut scent, paired with aquatic influences. The coconut essences are not too overpowering and not too sticky sweet, allowing the other components to shine beautifully. (Coconut is the dried flesh of coconuts, from which coconut oil is obtained)
The limes and mandarins are only faintly noticeable to me, adding a certain freshness to the whole. Bergamot, hibiscus, ginger, jasmine, ylang-ylang, and musk provide the perfect foundation for the fragrance.
Virgin Island Water feels to me like a perfect vacation day in the Caribbean:
In the morning, we head to the beach with the top notes: coconuts and fresh fruits let us start the day in a good mood. As we slowly feel hungry, we head into town for lunch. The heart note gives us, especially with ginger and ylang-ylang, a wonderfully aquatic "clean" feeling, as if we were entering an upscale restaurant in the midst of the midday heat, and the air conditioning gives us a delightful sense of comfort as our bodies quickly recover from the heat. In the evening, musk, cane sugar, and white rum carry us to a Caribbean bar. With our scent, we still feel casually yet stylishly dressed.
Virgin Island Water by Creed fits "in my nose" perfectly for summer: during sports, while shopping, in the office, and even in nightlife. I am in love...
