Very special fragrance.
I had a set of five Jovan fragrances that I picked up in my late teens (around 1979, 1890) They were all floral musks. I've miserly used them over the years, and have just a tiny bit left of the original Black Orchid and Lily of the Valley.
These are simple scents and yet so pure and clean that they remain favorites of mine to this day. Luckily I was able to buy some replacements on ebay recently.

Missed opportunity
This had a lot of potential but then resolves into a plainly, obviously floral scent.
I expected something more woody and with more of a kick to it.
I would not classify this as unisex, but very feminine.
Of course, my experience is skewed by the fact that Scentbird sent me this instead of what I ordered.

Best Evidence for Divergent Tastes in Scent
It continues to amaze and confuse me that anyone thought this fragrance is, in some way, "good".
It's astonishingly pervasive, enduring, penetrative. My partner and I are trying to subdue the miasma it has unleashed in our home, but so far, it just persists.
I find the scent actually nauseatingly musky. It's so overpowering that I don't even smell any of the other notes mentioned. A long time after it's touched something, and that something has been washed several times, you start to get a glimpse of rose. Before that it's all animal. (For me. I can't stress enough that people's perceptions will differ, I only give my reaction here.)
Someone, somewhere, thought this scent was a great idea. Good. I'm happy that humans are so divergent, it keeps life interesting. I have to say, though, after this experience, that I can't stretch my imagination to a point where I would find anything to like here. For me, it's an assault on the nose that just won't quit.
I give it low points for 'price' because I actually feel that it is a 'negative acquisition'. Your life is UNenhanced by the addition of this to your collection. So much regret for taking a blind recommendation.
