Grand soiree' rose
This is femininity in all its glory, and very decisively so!

It oozes femme fatal from first spray to dry down!
I was looking for my forever rose and someone suggested this: was I thankful! This reminds me very strongly of La Perla - original formula - though in there carnation is more prominent than rose. But boys, aren't they almost the same in the opening!

Absolutely gorgeous if one loves leatherose combos with a woody back-up. The woods here are soft and cozy, the rose just a subtle nudge in combo with a glorious patchouli, creating a sensual, extremely feminine accord. No iris note that I can detect, no powderiness.

I would associate this to a very French, grand soiree ballgown. It definitely makes one imagine a stunning lady all dressed up, jewels shining, ready to go to a ball, or a concert. Very sophisticated, incredibly balanced and both longevity and sillage are amazing. I am confused as to why they promote this as unisex, when no doubt this is a ladies fragrance.

Sophisticated lady
Some days, nothing can compare to Cristalle. The spell is capable to cast is so powerful that one's hands feel like gravitating towards its container.
If I could, on those days I would bathe in it.

Cristalle is utter sophistication. Enchanting, distinctive without being loud, precious in the way only great creations - of all sort - can ever be. On me, the melon/oakmoss combo dance, enraptured with each other. It's a dance of passion, the water and fire each shaping first a separate, then a common impression in the air.

My mind thus keeps twirling around one, then the other, then the both, in a waltz of notes that makes me dizzy. I want to really dance, swirl around to release more of them, then drown in them.

Few hours into the spell, jasmine and peach add to the ball, juicy and crisp enough to not obscure the previous duo. At last, ylang ylang and vetiver make their appearance; one dance and they leave, only to return some time later for a goodbye take.
It's then that the oakmoss truly give its best and my mind goes:

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light."

Poetry. Cristalle is my most beloved perfume poem.

Italian charm
A masterpiece of Italian charm and class.

The rose here is a sophisticated, enchanting Princess courtshipped by a somewhat green, fresh iris. The leather a caress, the patchouli demure and delicate.
Every note here is in sublime balance in what I can only compare to a Valentino evening dress. Absolute delight and highly recommended to all leatherose lovers.

I tried it against Moonlight Patchouli of Van Cleef and can't fault neither of them. The former more "about a rose", pungent if you wish, the latter a persistent yet suave version of it.

Lovely, and that's all said.

Exotic enchantress
Really strong and clingy.

Smells exactly like the traditional tiare' sun tan oils, plus a ton more of tiare'!! No jasmine, sorry, but coconut aplenty.

In the heat, this concoction literally explodes, and will exudes like an erupting volcano from the spots where you sprayed it.
You won't go unnoticed, for in a mile radius Terracotta will announce you to the world!

Do not wear for a romantic dinner, unless you wish to suffocate the other - thinking of which, Terracotta might come handy for a revenge dinner, perhaps? :))

Nonetheless lovely. I just wish it wasn't so in your face.

Citrus love
It took me a while to figure whether I liked, or loved this one.

Then I have decided that this is a little gem. Absolu opens with a sweet, ripen and juicy grapefruit. It's a blast of happiness, uplifting and refreshing.
Initially, you would think that that is all there is to enjoy. So misguided.
A gentle, creamy gardenia soon appears in the background, heavenly. Woody notes dance around her. They come, they go, never taking centre stage.

At this point the grapefruit and gardenia blend in a classy, sweet and sour combo that shines like the sun only can do.
This is summer in a bottle. Wear a light coloured linen dress, put on a straw hat - wide brim, 'course - sunglasses and flat leather sandals.... and class will announce your arrival.

Wonderful. Nothing else to add here.
