A Gorgeous Complex Evocative Fragrance
Wow this is totally gorgeous and complex which has you smelling many different notes from the opening to the basenotes.
The fragrance follows the usual Chypre formula, sparkling bergamot to start followed by a array of florals in the mid-notes. And all this settles on a bed of oakmoss, spices and vetiver in the basenotes.
There is also among the many notes a beautiful neroli note running through the composition brightening everything up. Projection is within arms length and I get eight hours plus in longevity. Despite the florals the scent is very unisex and can be worn by anyone. A beautiful and evocative fragrance reminding you of people, places and times gone by.

Most Glorious Luxurious Smelling Fragrance
Now this is a fantastic fragrance that ticks all the right boxes on my skin. In the opening i get a minty very fresh iris and violet leaf that smells very luxurious like you have walked into a five star hotel. Now on my skin these two notes, the iris and especially the violet leaf are the stars of the show. Everything else plays second fiddle to these two accords.
Within the next four hours I get coming behind the lush violet leaf a white musk, a dry peppery cedar note and hints of leather and cardamom. After that the woodsy Sandalwood fragrance with a sweet amber note become prominent and at this stage it smells more glorious and lush.
Now the performance is really good, from three sprays I get twelve hours of longevity. The projection for the first three hours is like 10ft then it stays just over arms reach. The sillage is great as well, going in and out of rooms this beautiful scent just lingers in the air. When this happens you know you are onto a winner!
I can only guess by the very divisive reviews that this scent must be subject to batch variation especially when you have different people blending the ingredients in store/factory.
So I'm giving this glorious fragrance a 9.5 out of 10. I'm dropping half a point because of the very expensive price point. But wow this one on my skin delivers the goods!!

Profumo Has Undergone The Goldilocks Treatment
In the Parfum, Profumo has undergone the goldilocks treatment. In essence at it's core it retains the same dna but made smoother and more refined. Gone is the intense smokiness and the incense has been dialed way down but now everything is more or less balanced.
I found the original to be overbearing and in your face, though it smelled great it was not very versatile. Even two sprays and I had to be careful not to choke people out. And forget about wearing this in the Summer.
But now in the Parfum they have made a gentleman out of old Profumo. For the first two hours I get about five feet in projection and then it stays within half a arms length. The scent is lighter and I'm able to pick out the individual notes like the orange citrus note in the opening to the dash of vanilla in the basenotes. Brown Leather Jacket Smell
The smell of a brown leather bomber jacket coupled with light florals and a touch of citrus notes. The floral accord smells like a light apricot aroma and it compliments the leather really well. Never overwhelms it and gives the scent a classic masculine cologne smell when coupled with the brown leather bomber jacket fragrance.
The only downside is when the top notes fade the fragrance becomes less interesting, just leather with a hint of the opening floral accords. Where as Ombre Leather by Tom Ford keeps the leather scent interesting from start to finish.

A Very Luxurious Leather Fragrance
A absolutely sexy stunner of a fragrance that will make you smell like a member of the billionaire boys club. And someone who has just stepped out of his expensive leather upholstered sports car for a night on the town.
As soon as you spray this on you are enveloped with the most plush and luxurious aroma of jasmine and supple plush leather. It's floral, smoky and slightly sweet and gets creamy in the drydown. The fragrance is so lush you may be mistaken for royalty if anyone smelled this on you.lol
