This is an exquisite fragrance. Wonderful bubblegummy tuberose and jasmine. I truly love this perfume and it's a great value compared to Armani. I wish it was more readily available in the States. I received it from a friend overseas for my birthday. Smells exactly the same as My Way and lasts forever too. Would buy it again and again.

Uugghhh! I so wanted a great Black Opium dupe as Armafs are pretty darn spot on. An because this is the Luxe Line I was doubly excited. But Nope! It smells like Poison Girl at the present time. And as I like Poison Girl, it's not a LOVE for me. MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It probably has to settle after being shipped to let the sweetness pop out. That totally happened when I purchased Orissima by Ted Lapidus. I was totally unimpressed when I got my Orissima in the mail. Thought it smelled straight-up like Noxema. I was super pissed. But I waited to declutter her and let her sit for about a month to macerate. Wow what a total beauty she turned into and now is my FAVORITE winter perfume. So I am really hoping it's the same story with Baroque Gold by Armaf. So far my favorite dupe for Black Opium is Touch of Woman by La Rive. Smells totally spot on and lasts about the same.

So far with this Armaf, I am not very happy.

I have been searching and searching for a great powerhouse. Paloma Picasso has been reformulated, Magie Noire has been totally neutered with reformulation and also Diva. But Animale? OMG she is roaring greatness that lasts for eons. I get an opulent, rich honey, civet and rose perfume that is now my all time favorite. I just got a back-up bottle with body cream and shower gel - After a few days of purchasing my first bottle.

The compliments I have gotten while wearing this beauty is astounding. One woman was yelling down the isle of where I was shopping, "Oh my God what are you wearing!?!?! It's so gorgeous!!!" I told her Animale and whipped it our of my purse to give her a couple of sprays. She took a pic of it to order it.

A side note, my husband was irritated that I have been wearing it. He says it's too sexy for everyday, and asked me to keep it for going out to special evenings. Sorry!!! I am so addicted to this fragrance I can't just wear her now and then!!! I found my scent soul mate!

Smells like Black Opium for a truly great price. I love it. Deep, rich and delicious! Rich coffee with vanilla and pralines. I love to wear this in the cold because I get the florals too. Simply beautiful. Would definitely buy this again and again!

My first Yves de Sistelle perfume. I was afraid it would smell cheap, but no. It smells very close to it's inspiration.

This little cheapie here smells grand and niche. It's a real compliment getter. This is my mountain perfume. I usually wear it when ever I go up to Idyllwild and where every I go, people ask me what I'm wearing because is smells so amazing. In hot weather, it just smells like liquid smoke!

But in the cold, It just blossoms into a gorgeous complex, cinnamony, smoky, wonder that lasts forever and on clothing for a couple of days. Last year I fell in love with Cuirs by Carner Barcelona. I think I have found a similar replacement. I really love this perfume!

It's like walking on a cold winter's night and smelling the fireplaces in the air while drinking mulled cider. Yum.
