The Woody Rose of the Arabs
Before I have tested or even smelled Gold Rose Oudh, he was already on my wish list.
But since I never really got a sample, or wanted to buy one, I had to wait.

One day I received mail with a fragrance sample of Roberto Ugolini 17 Rosso, I was in love what a beautiful rose fragrance, but rose is rather what for women I thought. But when I realized that men can wear anything nowadays, I did not care and he became my rose fragrance, he was bright Rosig, sweet fruity and much more.

But that's where Gold Rose Oudh comes in.
Although I thought that there is no other rose fragrance for me from now on, I still went on my last visit to Frankfurt in search of a store in which I test it on the spot.
Veni, Vidi, Vici
Yes ok he won, not me XD
He was something completely different than like 17 Rosso.
It was darker, spicier, not really fruity, you smelled a rose here that is completely different from 17 Rosso.

If you're reading this, thank you for getting this far despite my poor German and few lyrical skills, and not dropping out

Long disregarded now after 10 years finally found on the shelf again
It's a fragrance I had no connection to, as back when I was only very young I got it as a gift from some ex-girlfriend of my brother's for Christmas or my birthday in the summer. At that time my nose wasn't ready for a perfume and I only knew it from spraying on various deodorants. So I put this thing somewhere in one of the many compartments of my Ikea shelf until I finally found it again last weekend.

Since I already longer on Parfumo rum geistern and me daily many posts on various Xerjoff, Tiziana Terenzi and Co fragrances durchlese and own even already a small collection, I thought to myself that this perfume is no good and also can no longer smell. Most importantly, this suspicion was confirmed when I saw here on this lovely forum that it was released in 2011 and they say fragrances wear off over time. This fragrance, however, does not.

It may have been a cheap drugstore scent even back then, but for being that and also having had its years on the shelf, I have to say that this scent completely won me over in terms of its longevity and fragrance. The sillage is now not the best, you have to do up to 5 sprays, which is normal for one or the other, as they do it even with various Nieschen perfumes, but for me this is very atypical.

The fragrance: I smell clearly at the beginning of the grapefruit, but a light sweet grapefruit no zittige, the lemon is also not so quite lemony she gives rather a small freshness to it, so that the grapefruit does not seem so dominant, but rather light and washed out.
Then I feel something the apple and the star anise, which in my opinion give a strong spice to the perfume and make him rather something wintry
At the very end, my feeling for wintry season is still somewhat strengthened with a light woody touch, which is but very small.
But unfortunately plays here of the beginning small lemon and the sweetness grapefruit a line through the bill and makes him then again summery.
