Sparkling Ginger
By chance I came across this scent, I can't even reconstruct the situation properly.
In any case, I was looking for a summery night out or evening scent with which one can also go to clubs, rather in the easy direction and from the niche corner.
I have tested myself through some things and most of what was suggested to me was good but often too hard or too sweet.

And now I'm here. By the Jiggle Water Dark, totally unpopular.
The comments and statements here on Parfumo and the blog entry about the fragrance on the page "For the love of fragrance" encouraged me to order a sample.

The fragrance itself starts off very fresh, each individual fragrance note indicated in the top note mixes to a pleasant "uniform mash". Ginger, lemon and a hint of cardamom create a fresh overall picture that fits wonderfully into warm evening hours.
I also have the illusion of carbonic acid, a slight tingling in the nose completes the impression.
Little by little the scents of malt, caramel, cedar and musk join in the background, the ginger remains - in my opinion - but always in the foreground, just like the lemon and the light freshness.
I experience a slight twist after about 3 hours of wearing, the scent gets a little darker, loses its freshness and unfortunately also its sillage. In general, I find Sillage and durability not necessarily intoxicating, but still in the midfield
On me, the dark sparkling water is only perceived very closely after about 3 hours, every now and then when I move, a really nice scent composition blows into my nose, but this is then only a shadow of itself. Unfortunately! I would like to freeze the scent from the first second on as it is and then keep it for 10 hours.

Perfect for going out and clubbing.
It also goes during the day in the spare time and with many activities outside.
Casual, not too formal.
Rather no man in a suit and more masculine than unisex.

In any case, it is an absolute insider tip, girls and women have already asked me several times about the unique fragrance.
Also I have never been allowed to smell anything in that direction before.
Test recommendation! This fragrance definitely deserves more love and attention ;)

Blue R(e)itter in noble armor
Who would have thought that one day I would like De Marly perfume? To be honest, I don't anymore
Layton, who was clearly too sweet for me, just like Pegasus, whose scent still sends an icy shiver down my spine, or even the Herod, which I at least didn't find so horrible, but which is also absolutely unbearable for me.
Well, I was about to give up hope, but I remembered that the Layton Exclusif was recommended to me. (Except for a few hundred euros when the scent knocks my socks off)

So I ordered a sample of Layton Exclusif and I have to say... I am thrilled! A very complex scent, which doesn't seem as sweet, soapy, pungent and unbearable to me as its companions.
I smell something smoky, strong, spicy, animalistic, but I can't make out any single scent. Slightly sweet, yes. But much more noble than the regular Layton, I'd say... It's the "grown-up" Layton, the more mature Layton, or the Layton as it should have been - for me - actually.

The durability is unbeatable, as is the sillage. Layton Exclusif sticks to me for about 12 hours, maybe even longer and I find that it becomes really nice and cuddly after about 2-3 hours. But it does not lose its Sillage, which is still perceived quite well after 6 hours.
Phew... I would say that it is a bit too heavy for the summer or spring, for me it will be more of an autumn/winter scent. Warm evenings and walks, formal dinners, going to a cabaret, visiting a musical,... i can definitely picture something like that with him
Besides, the Layton Exclusif fits the suit rather than the sweatpants and even if it is listed as unisex here, I would say it smells very very masculine.

Whether the price is justified now, everyone has to decide for himself in the end. But I can make a test recommendation, even for those who don't like PdM.

vacation in a bottle // beach waves incoming
Maybe 'Pacific Rock Moss' isn't something mind-blowing for experienced fragheads all over the world, but to me it smells simply incredible and I can't stop inhaling beach waves. ;)
First of all: it's an aquatic and there's nothing groundbreaking about this fragrance. So if you're not into aquatics, you can stop reading and search for another kind of fragrance.

But... Whenever I smell 'Pacific Rock Moss' I get the feeling of walking on a beach. Not necessarily Australia, but somewhere warm, somewhere beautiful, a sandy beach and in my imagination aren't there any annoying tourists - I'm all alone. Taking a walk in the around a half feet deep water, smelling the salty sea with a hint of a fresh lemon.
The longer I walk, the more I smell the lemon, but it's not overwhelming because this fragrance is just blended so well.
With 'Pacific Rock Moss' I feel marvelous. It's a crowdpleaser, you can't go wrong with it. It's for the hot and sweaty summer days, a vacation on the sea, spring, for going out in a club,.. super versatile in my honest opinion. (But not for winter)

Longevity, projection and sillage are moderate imo. Around 4-5 hours, depends on the weather, I get waves of it every now and then. Then it starts to fade away and I have to spray again. Performanc gets better with hotter weather.

The bottle is simply beautiful with the wood top and the very light blue juice. It's minimalistic.

Compliments are a reason to buy a fragrance for many people. I'm a man and I get compliments from girls and women like at least 1 time whenever I'm wearing 'Pacific Rock Moss'. They say stuff like "Wow... you're smelling great", "You smell like vacation", "You smell super fresh",...

Is it worth the money? Well.. Get you a decant and find out. I personally don't regret the buy, I fell in love the second I smelled it. I've never smelled something like 'Pacific Rock Moss' before, so I'd say it's unique. But however... What kind of fragrance is worth over 150 bucks anyway?
