			Not what I anticipated
I must admit, I’m disappointed. I had expected to find the naturalistic honey you get in Tobacco Honey, but lighter and interlaced with lush rose. This is very much an almond, cherry. It’s pleasant, not too too powdery. Light wearing. But, at this stage, I’m struggling to get either rose or honey. Had I been able to sample this, I would have passed.
Lifer Rose for someone who usually hates rose
My fragrance journey began when I was looking for a replacement for my long lost Miss Dior Cherie 2011 - for eons my one and only perfume. When I went to replace it after using my last bottle, I found it was discontinued and panicked. Nothing has come even close to that one until I tried Rose Milano. No, they are not at all "dupes" of one another. But there is enough common DNA, a shared high quality in the blend, and both have an uplifting feel that I think I'll make this a staple in my collection. It's bright - slightly under ripe pears with lemon juice squeezed over, just to keep the pears from browning. Fresh rose, but enough jamminess to blend in with the fruit, and a gentle patchouli that gives a soft greenness. Another smash from Marie Salmagne for me, and will be a full bottle purchase.
