With Midnight Poison I have found a fragrance that gives me its mysterious,
Subtle, inexplicable at first glance. He who inspires, attunes to the mysticism of life, awakens long-forgotten memories, something you are unconscious of. Rational things are paralyzed in the process. The perfume has something surreal.
These are very fine emotions and feelings that Midnight Poison triggers, which unfortunately get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, so I often try to wear the scent at home, so that I can perceive and enjoy the wonder essence more.

The beautiful gothic rose (which could be exactly the colour of the bottle), a fresh and cooling (reminds me of Camphor) chord intertwined with patchouli and amber.....what a beguiling mixture!
It's a special magic that flows out of the bottle and you can't resist it so easily.
This is also the deep blue colour that accentuates the character of the perfume even more.

"Piguet simply can't disappoint"...I have to say again and again as soon as a fragrance from the house of Robert Piguet gets into my hands.
I have wished for Alameda for a long time and I knew that one day my dream will come true....
I was so excited about this perfume and imagined all the pictures in my head of how Alameda will be, how will it affect me.....I asked myself: "will Alameda touch my soul just like some other perfumes from Piguet?"
Since yesterday the long wait had come to an end: "Oh yes, that's exactly what I wanted and imagined, only much better!"
The perfume is so wonderfully balanced - nothing stands out, everything is rounded, almost creamy, very soft and melodic.
Here I am greeted by the wild strawberry, flowery, bitter, wood, caramel, amber and sweet notes. Not at all overwhelming opulence, on the contrary - everything is so incredibly finely tuned and delicious.
The woody and slightly bitter nuance makes Alameda appear deeper and more elegant.
A slightly acidic wild strawberry brings juiciness, freshness and new colours into play, it becomes sparkling fruity.
The scent warms and refreshes me at the same time, enveloping me with its cloud. There is something piquant, even Oriental about it, which contributes even more to this harmony here.
It is a feeling of entering a magical garden, where everything looks so dreamy and fairytale, where intoxicating, enticing essences exude the scent of bliss and serenity.
This mixture of exquisite ingredients is a real pleasure that unfolds nobly and splendidly on the skin. Over time, the fragrance becomes even more majestic and attractive. And it lasts amazingly long

For me, Alameda is a perfume that radiates joie de vivre and a positive mood, that is bright and sunny! But also this special depth and magic, which captivates and takes your breath away...

One of my two blind buys (the first JPG fragrances I ever had) was the Ma Dame EdP.
I wanted to be surprised and decided to wear the Ma Dame today...
At first I had a scratchy feeling in my throat when I sprayed on the perfume.... And then I felt this plastic-like note... but a short time later: " oh la la! who do we have there??? what a fireworks... not bad the Ma Dame... with a lively sharp character so..."
Even if this artificial rose made of vinyl seemed strange to me.
I can't say that I didn't like the perfume, I was much more confused and surprised by this composition.
This is an incredible mix of fresh cirrus notes, cooled by patchouli, a pop art rose and hot pepper.... More interesting than I thought.
After the sharpness became milder, the true beauty of the perfume came to light.
This perfume is ambiguous, meant for an urban woman who is multi-faceted, self-confident and at the same time very feminine, who has no inhibitions to show her emotions and to surprise herself and others again and again.
Defiant, cheeky, even bitchy at the beginning, the Ma Dame later looks quite tamed and somewhat undercooled.
All these phases of how perfume unfolds and changes over time are exciting and interesting! You just have to take your time.
The perfume carries itself like a small black, which has a whistle and spice in itself but nevertheless something classical and timeless remains.
Monsieur Kurkdjian has once again created a remarkable fragrance!

for autumn, I was thinking about these perfumes right when I was sniffing them! The first impression does not deceive.
Actually I wanted to get to know Amber Ylang some time ago, but there were other favorites that blocked my way to the fragrance or it was just no way to get it.... and so I was lucky here at Parfumo, the fragrance has now moved in with me...
It's a shame that I discovered perfume only now... it's been around for almost 10 years...
Who knows, maybe it's better that way, because everything in its time.
At that time I was not a big fan of such warm oriental scents. Although he is not such a typical Orient for me. Rather European adapted, adapted for our autumn season ( ideal!) and especially well suited for relaxation and cosy hours. The perfume is just made for at home - I want to wear it for myself and my loved ones, even if you simply have a Lazy Day...Or accompanying to sleep, which harmonizes, soothes and certainly gives sweet dreams!
The scent seduces you, because this amber vanilla music is not loud but very familiar and enveloping. Erotic but not explosive, soothing, and so that you don't even notice and your attention is dampened, the scent quietly brings you into its captivity.
At work he helps me to stay calm and not to get upset about the little things, not to hurry unnecessarily...Like today...
A tastefully balanced, soft fragrance that warms me with its vanilla, cinnamon and amber and gives me a feeling of security and security.
This is like a veil of fine spices and royal ylang.
The combination of ingredients has a hypnotic effect!
Amber Ylang is my true aromatherapy and a "protective coat" for the soul that carries me on its hands through the day.
For some the perfume can be quite a night, - evening smell. Yes, absolutely! I'd trust him to. It seems that Amber Ylang adapts to the owner, is not pushy and looks like your second skin.
Durability I don't find breathtaking but still good (if you don't have to have 24 hours of perfume), Sillage a bit quiet, and so it doesn't kill anyone and behaves discreetly in the background.
It's really a pity that this precious elixir isn't made anymore... But that's nothing new, there are so many masterpieces of perfume that you can't see anymore, unless you find the nice perfume lovers who are willing to share some drops of the magical scents with you.
I can't imagine the autumn days without Amber Ylang, my late discovered darling!

When I was looking for a fragrance with a lily, I happened to hear about Gardenia from Piguet, a short time later I was the proud owner of a bottling....The fragrance has done it to me from the first minute, I was clear - here I have to do with a real treasure.
This Gardenia has something appealing and yet distant about it.
Although the name of the fragrance may confuse some, in reality the noble lily presents itself here in its full splendour. Main actor even.
For me the perfect lily that doesn't cause headaches and is very wearable (even for the office).
Lily that appears spicy with a hint of green, not intrusive and not too sweet at all. Pure elegance.
Perhaps the leather chord lends here a certain structure and also order so that it does not become too much flowery and monotonous. The masculine side defuses here a little the sweetness and makes the scent rounder.
This lily unfolds especially in autumn and gives generously its warmth and protection.
Although the shelf life is not above average, but it is better that everything remains in moderation, after all, you do not have to smell strong for 8 hours uninterruptedly, a hint of this fragrance I still perceive over a longer period of time.
Gardenia combines for me the balance of presence and yet understatement, as well as a certain restraint (which can rarely be said of fragrances with lilies.).
I wouldn't be able to wear the scent every day. It's like with your favourite food - the special thing about it is that you only want to taste it at special moments and not constantly, otherwise it quickly loses its status as "favourite" and at some point it will only taste ordinary...
So it is with me with the favorite smells - rarely carry, only then it has something magical and precious in itself!
When I wear Gardenia by Piguet, the noble lily demands a completely different posture from me and the mood becomes corresponding. From head to toe I feel incredibly feminine, soft, vulnerable, yet unapproachable, confident and proud.
I would recommend this wonderful and exquisite fragrance to anyone who is looking for "the lily". You won't be disappointed!
