Lemon bomb with a waxy twist
This is one of my favourite scents of all time, and I normally gravitate to dark, heavy scents with spicy, resinous, and woody notes (I also love Religious Guilt Spritz by this same perfumer, for reference). Citrusy scents are normally very meh to me, but this is my exception.

I find that the waxy, salty, neoprene notes really shine through on my skin, and it stops the fragrance from heading into cleaning product territory (which citrus scents often do for me). It performs so well on really hot days, and it's never cloying or heavy.

For a citrus scent, I find it actually has a surprising amount of longevity on my skin (for the sake of transparency, my skin doesn't eat perfume up super quickly and I find that things that others consider short-lived to be a little longer-living on me). I would imagine that the surf wax and lemon-scented eucalyptus notes are what helps the fragrance stick.

It's not obnoxious in its projection, and it won't overpower rooms or even cars, and I don't think it has to to be special. It creates a beautiful little scent bubble, though.

The scent feels so familiar to me, since it uses Australian botanicals that I smell in the air when I'm at or near the beach, and it makes it incredibly comforting. If JHAG Ode to Dullness is my cup of tea on a miserable foggy day, Raconteur Lemonade Grenade is my Icy Pole on a hot summer day.
