My very first perfume was given to me on my sixth birthday by my aunt. It was "Oilily Kids." Back then, I didn't really know what a perfume was. I noticed that Mom often smelled wonderful, but that it came from a liquid? Anyway, when I unwrapped the gift, I looked quite confused and asked why I was getting water in a bottle. That’s when I was enlightened.
"Oilily Kids" was my first great love. I just had to keep smelling the flacon; I found the scent so amazing. But I only used it very rarely. I wanted to always have that pretty little bottle with the wonderful scented water inside. Although I didn't exactly store it professionally, it lasted for years. It stood on my shelf in front of the window - shame on me! But it never tipped over. And eventually - after eight long years of our friendship - the wonderful flacon sadly became empty.
Unfortunately, it seems that the scent is no longer being produced; at least, I couldn't find it anymore. In not a single drugstore.
But maybe that's for the best. For me as a child, it was a magical scent. It accompanied me for a long time and gave me many beautiful memories. If I were to buy it again, I might find that the scent isn't as special as I remember it to be. After all, one should preserve their beautiful memories just as they are.

I am attempting my very first comment on a perfume - on my favorite scent "Chymara" from TBS.
I bought it about two years ago because I found the smell so wonderful: sweet, but not too sweet, a bit feminine, yet still youthful and fresh. Personally, I only wear it in autumn and winter, as it smells a bit too heavy for summer.
Unfortunately, I recently learned that it has been discontinued, which makes me really very sad. The fragrance has that certain something that makes a perfume so unique. "Chymara" is simply unmistakable and smells like no other fragrance. I will miss it!
