"It's raining again, oh no my love's at an end, hmmm la losing a friend" *falsch-sing* - Farewell tour of Supertramp at the Volkspark-Stadion in Hamburg. That's what it used to be called. Wow, I got to experience this! It was a very warm summer evening, and 40,000 people sang this song *in-remembrance-welfare-and-goose bumps war* Herrje, that was a long time ago, but I digress.

I have already circled Rain a few times, but could not decide to buy. Today I was on the spot again and bought it. There was only one bottle left. You want me to leave this? After that there's no more, and then the hunting starts again and the "oh, I should have only..." You know how it is. The saleswoman said that I shouldn't conjure anything up with rain and so on, because we have had exceptionally nice weather here in the north for just a few days. And when it's warm, you immediately feel like a new summer scent, no matter how many are already in the cupboard...

Now then, Rain. A beautiful refreshing fragrance for which others have already found such beautiful descriptions here. Of raindrops pearling from blades of grass. Joah, this picture fits. It really smells like rain after a long dry spell. Cool, refreshing, unsweet. Not like you sprayed yourself with perfume. But simply fragrant. The base is great. It smells like MOSHUS. And I love that. However: If you smell the musk base, the rain is almost over. The performance is not so great. That's why the fragrance is probably also available in litre bottles. So that you can (and should) spray frequently.

Next week we're going on holiday to the North Sea. And Rain has a good chance of going. Although, of course, I don't mean to evoke anything...

Kleos Musk Series - Part 26

This fragrance was handed to me in the Hamburger Hof-Parfümerie for a test and I couldn't get it out of my head. It's always one of those things when you're out and about. With all the fragrance melange that you carry around with you on every available skin spot during the whole test, one or the other fragrance sometimes goes under. Depending on who screams loudest.

adr_ett does not scream. But he's there. At home I always had to think of him, I was annoyed that I didn't take him with me and wanted to get at least one bottling. But the dear Parfumo then immediately gave me his whole bottle! Thanks again for that!

Spray adr_ett and you get a silvery cloud. Synthetic, modern, clear. Interesting. Immediately - already in the perfumery - I noticed the musk. That's why I couldn't get him out of my head ;) In the first moment the Sillage is strong, but adr_ett becomes very fast very close. And then you might think, oops, he's already gone, but not at all. Over many hours a little cloud comes flying by every now and then, containing this pure, white, clear, fluffy, cotton-soft, silvery and powdery clean musk and bringing a smile to my face.

A musk the way I love it. Unsweet, soft, cuddly. Enveloping and providing a sense of security. A musk I like to wear all by myself. I haven't taken him for a walk outside yet. It's just mine. It's all mine. My sweetheart is allowed to sniff him, of course, and he loves to sniff him at me. I like to spray it on in the evening before going to bed, and then I smell it even the next morning. And smile blissfully at me...

Oh, it's beautiful! My favorite musk scent right now. Number one. If he was just a teeny bit stronger.... But I don't want to criticize. The way he is, he's wonderful. Point.

The other day at the flea market: Spring, 22 degrees, sunny, light wind (the hair was sitting) - it was wonderful! There my eye spied a small bottle of Petite Cherie with a little left over, probably enough for about five applications. Annick Goutal was a household name to me (how could I ever forget Songes...), I'd heard Petite Cherie before too but didn't know what it smelled like and didn't feel like pulling out my phone either. But for one euro it was worth it nevertheless all times to buy it blindly, in order to test it!

I was already scented elsewhere, but that was already something ago, so first sprayed on the hand. Oh, that smells but spring fresh! A little later then again a complete sprinkling. That's a nice one! I smell: some grass, some fruit, flower, overall fresh, but very soft, neither too tart nor too sweet, just charming and carefree, absolutely suitable for this beautiful spring day!

At home, of course, I immediately checked what is so in the fragrance and whether that corresponds with my own impressions. And lo and behold, I was not so wrong. However, I would never have come to the idea, this fragrance could only be what for young girls, as read in many comments!? Although, I'm still young at heart, so I wear it too. It's not forbidden for old women to climb trees. Astrid Lindgren said that. I read it here!

Unfortunately, there is something to find fault with this fragrance: The sillage. The might like to be a little more expansive. I feel Petite Cherie namely as quite close to the skin. Well, it's also for young girls ;) Or there's also for adults?
