Very Disappointing
Phew...after paying around €60 for the 50ml bottle of Eau Sauvage EdT at my trusted perfumery, I am now slightly, well, shocked. For a sixth of the price, you get double the amount of the same quality. It even lasts just as long as the original on the skin. The sillage is predominantly close to the body for both.
This makes me question the pricing policy of established brands once again. For fans of Eau Sauvage EdT, Putting Green is an equivalent substitute.
Edit: The Eau Sauvage EdT does indeed have, as mentioned in other comments, a creamy component that is not found in Putting Green.

By now a disappointment
Fierce is another example of a deterioration due to reformulation.
It has clearly been downsized. The current version (dark plastic cap) is unfortunately just a pale imitation of its predecessor (metal cap).
Fierce is now far less long-lasting, has lost its characteristic sharp spiciness, and has a bit more citrus in it.
The scent is still okay, but not acceptable for the price. I will cherish the rest of the original fragrance and instead use Aviator when the urge for Fierce comes over me again.
From a top fragrance in the party segment, it has become an average fresh scent.
Very unfortunate!

Very good copy of the reformulation
Well, the widely known Fierce was indeed significantly reformulated with the introduction of the new bottle (dark plastic cap and new muscle-bound design). It has become less potent overall and a bit more citrusy. Fierce didn't get better, but it is still very good and outrageously overpriced.
Alternatives, meaning good copies, are hard to find, which is why I decided to share my opinion on Aviator.
This is a perfect copy of the current Fierce. It is actually, as Rittler mentioned in his comment, slightly fresher in the scent progression, which is nice.
The longevity is good, the sillage is okay. Three sprays should be just fine.
It can be purchased in retail, mainly in Kaufhof stores for a casual 14€.
So why should I get this fragrance?
Fishing for compliments! That's how superficial and banal the answer is.
Women of childbearing age love this scent. Great, right?!

The Fragrance for Discerning Souls
If you consider yourself one of the more introverted personalities in a society full of hustle, superficiality, and self-presentation, then Joop! Homme is the fragrance that caresses this character trait. It is a quiet, unobtrusive, thoughtful waft that invites you to pause. There is no proletarian here who dives greedily into the temptations and sins of the night.
Unfortunately, the scent is a bit weak. One should not apply less than 5 sprays, as otherwise it is hardly perceivable for oneself - and certainly not for dear fellow humans. It is also advisable to refresh it multiple times after three to four hours.
I usually only get a month out of the 200ml bottle, but I am so enamored with this classic that I always ensure I have a backup.
It particularly shines at art openings in underground garages or exhibitions of video installations by art students in their 20th semester, providing an enormous amount of contrasting conversation material.
Edit: It is a great classic that should particularly appeal to younger people. In everyday life, one spray is enough, and if you're going out, two will suffice. Still, an Intense version would be appropriate. No... that last sentence was just a joke :-).

Beginner's Mistake
Ah yes, when you're new to the world of fragrances, this kind of thing happens. A classic mispurchase; let me explain:
The bottle is quite stylish. The well-known field bottle is covered with grippy plastic and is generously sized with up to 150 ml of content, making it nice to look at.
But the content! Even with my limited experience, I can already say that Just Different doesn't offer much, and that's being generous. In particular, the heart note is a mushy, generic fruit salad, surrounded by something synthetic-woody. The scent doesn't offend anyone, but in this price range, it's definitely not appropriate. Moreover, one would think that Hugo Boss would have higher standards for their luxury goods. But not at all, the longevity is maybe 4 hours and the sillage is practically nonexistent.
If you're looking for a fragrance for the urban young man, to whom at least the elaborate advertising campaign is aimed, it's better to get advice from experts in the forum first; there are surely alternatives.
So, don’t let yourself be talked into it and keep your hands off!
