Without corners and edges to hold on to
In my search for a special, long-lasting salty lemon, I stumbled across The Forward.

As I had hoped, the fragrance starts off slightly lemony, but this fades quite quickly.
Instead, the salty pomelo enters the stage and remains perceptible for quite a while. For me, the fragrance is really great here and is rounded off with a pleasant jasmine note. A subtle sweetness from the tonka also creeps in quite quickly.
The middle section is a real highlight: salty, fresh with tart-sweet tonka.

This then turns into a vanilla tonka, becomes sweeter and less special (at least it seems very familiar to me), but thus pleasant to smell for the environment.
So if you are looking for tonka bean with a certain summery touch, you should definitely try The Forward.

The fragrance is definitely unisex and cannot be assigned to any gender in my opinion.
It fits into cooler summer days, but actually cannot be clearly assigned to any season either
Wearable for many occasions (work, leisure, going out), certainly won't bother anyone.
It's not really sweet, not really fresh, not heavy, but not light either
Somehow, I can't really categorize the fragrance. That can be a good thing - a "no brainer", so to speak - but somehow also unsatisfactory.

The durability is completely ok: at least 4 hours perceptible.
Ultimately not a candidate for purchase for me, the sample will definitely be used up, but then it's also good.
I'm still looking for my perfect salt-lemon.

From summer drinks in a deckchair to perfumed wood
Daï Quiri starts with a strong lime, together with the grapefruit I get a really tangy, slightly alcoholic opening. The maritime notes are clearly recognizable and underline the citrus fruits with an airy freshness.

After around 20 minutes, the fragrance becomes sweet and fruity. I can smell pineapple and melon. Unfortunately, there is nothing left of the martime notes on my skin (and I really regret that!).
Sparkling sherbet vibes are reaching me now, there's something relaxed and summery about it: perhaps a daiquiri in a deckchair?

Then the fragrance develops on my skin in a very perfumey way, which I associate with a certain heaviness. The feeling of summer, lightness and effervescence is lost and the overall impression is somehow incongruous for me.
Woods provide a smoky base, but the musk keeps it somehow fluffy.

The durability is not particularly good for me, after 2 hours I can only perceive a hint.

I would like the tingling lime with the pineapple to last longer, it convinced me together with the martime notes. If I could separate the fragrance into two parts, I would like to keep the first part. That way, I can use up my sample over the summer and keep the opening in good memory.

The lightness of the sunset
The fragrance starts off quite sweet in a very pleasant way. Not squeaky and not "girly-like",
not "pink cotton candy-sweet" and not "edible-sweet". Simply beguilingly sweet, but not breathtaking.
You are well noticed, but you don't take over the room in a penetrating way.
This sweet presence is difficult to describe - I find the opening very engaging and
attractive.

There is a lot of fruit right at the beginning, then it becomes more differentiated and I
first clearly smell mandarin, closely followed by longer-lasting raspberry, and finally by
accompanied by a subtle pinch of pear.

The fragrance impression remains like this for quite a while and I feel fruity
Then the melange changes to creamy coconut. Super soft and creamy with a certain tart note and still beautifully summery.
I like this transition best, when the fruit is still there but the ginger and pepper take it to the next level.
Then the fragrance is fantastically beautiful, pleasant to wear, pleasing and yet somehow special.
Wonderfully fitting for the daily, but always unique (eponymous) sunset.

The finish with woods such as cashmere and sandalwood is fitting and forms a good conclusion to the overall composition.

The longevity is quite good. It often bothers me when the fragrance is still in
clothing for the next few days, but that is not the case here.

At first I thought: I don't need this too, it's nothing special, even if it is quite nice
But then it kept popping back into my head and maybe sunset hour will have to move in with me for the summer after all?

Watermelon slush at 30 degrees
Wavechild starts with a very clear watermelon - and I mean a VERY clear watermelon. For me, the opening almost has something of "Watermelon Bubblegum" from the chewing gum range.
During the first test, I also had strong "Tennie deodorant vibes" (rather less appealing to my nose). However, this impression no longer occurred during the subsequent tests, and my environment didn't perceive it that way either.
This does not necessarily have to be a negative association. I even liked the bubblegum note somehow.

At the same time, this sweet watermelon also makes you feel like you're sitting at a beach bar: and that usually puts you in a good mood!

The top note is not fresh, I also find it rather oppressive at first due to the
clear synthetics.

Over time, the watermelon develops and becomes softer and softer.
The coconut and cocoa notes become perceptible and from this point on it is a pleasant summer fragrance. If the top note had been less blatant and the transitions a little more finely tuned, I would have been convinced.

As it is, it's a feminine and young watermelon fragrance that goes well in summer, but not for me.

The friendly Aquat
A'mmare starts very fresh with a bergamot-like salt note
The rosemary is very perceptible from the beginning and it creates a very interesting
salty fresh fragrance aura.

Then the fragrance develops a creaminess that doesn't quite displace the light freshness from the top note - which is exactly what makes Ammare special for me. This impression remains the entire time.
After about an hour, the mint comes through well, together with pleasant musk and
Woods, the fragrance now becomes round and balanced.

A beautiful light aquatic fragrance, without any citrus or even shower gel vibes.
Even the constant fear of smelling like "fish and algae" with aquatic fragrances is not fulfilled here.
A'mmare is therefore also associatively more of a "day-at-sea" than a "day-at-sea" fragrance for me and is very special in its own right due to its creaminess.

It is unisex, tends to be close to the skin and does not fill the room.
The longevity is okay for this type of fragrance, I can perceive it well on me for 4 hours.

I tested A'mmare at about 20 degrees on a sunny day and on a day with rather cool and windy 10 degrees.
I think at over 25 degrees, maybe with some windy weather it could fit perfectly.

An all-round friendly, very smooth Auqat - definitely worth a test!
