From Summer Drink in the Lounger to Scented Wood
Daï Quiri starts with a strong lime, together with the grapefruit I get a really nice zesty, slightly alcoholic opening. The maritime notes are clearly recognizable and underscore the citrus fruits with an airy freshness.
After about 20 minutes, the scent becomes sweet and fruity. I can smell pineapple and also melon. Unfortunately, there is nothing left of the maritime notes on my skin (and I really regret that!).
Sparkling soda vibes reach me now, it has a relaxed summery feel: maybe a Daiquiri in the lounger?
Then the scent develops on my skin very perfumey, which I associate with a certain heaviness. The feeling of summer, lightness, and zestiness is lost, and the overall impression feels somehow inconsistent to me.
Woods provide a smoky foundation, but the musk keeps it somehow fluffy.
The longevity is not particularly good for me, after 2 hours I can only perceive a hint.
I would wish for the sparkling lime with the pineapple to be more lasting, as it convinced me together with the maritime notes. If I could separate the scent into two parts, I would like to keep the first part. This way, I can use my sample throughout the summer and keep the opening in good memory.
