He Doesn't Like Me
In a blind test, I would have never believed that this is a fragrance from 2017. I find it very soapy. I usually like jasmine a lot. It’s probably the overall composition that makes me perceive it as very animalic. I think it’s a successful reformulation, but this fragrance doesn’t want to have a relationship with me. What a pity!

Megamare and Bitterfeld
Oh dear, where do I start? I have only been registered on Parfumo for a few months. Until now, I have neither rated a fragrance nor written any statements.
This is not because I am just a "peeper" here; rather, I have lacked the courage until now. My nose is not trained enough that I felt I needed to add my two cents here. There are certainly far more knowledgeable members here.

Now to Megamare;
Before I participated in the sharing, I naturally looked at the reviews and statements. I knew it would be a fragrance with edges and corners. The idea of salt and aquatic notes in a fragrance intrigued me. I imagined a wonderful sea scent. To preface: I perceived a lot of salt, but I cannot make a connection to the sea.

The first and only spray and then a déjà vu.

We are at the end of the 70s/beginning of the 80s. I am in East Germany, specifically in the chemical town of Bitterfeld (a city in Saxony-Anhalt). I am sitting in the car with my parents, and we are driving with a cake in tow to my sister.
We are crossing the industrial area. A huge chemical factory, an entire site with smoking chimneys, from which yellow, black, or white plumes of smoke rise. It steams and hisses at every corner. The buildings, the street, everything is dreary, gray, and dirty. Closing the car windows does not help. You cannot escape the smell. It seeps through every crack, into every corner. Probably even a nose clip would not have made a difference.
I feel nauseous; even hours later, the smell haunts me. It is everywhere - like Megamare - with a sillage of 10+++++. Even the cake absorbs it. It tasted like how Bitterfeld smelled. And the longevity is unbelievable. It tends towards 12 ++++. We stayed overnight at my sister's, and by late afternoon the next day, we still had the smell in our noses. Well, all of this came to mind after one spray of Megamare.
I do not want to offend any Parfumo member who likes this fragrance. Surely it has its rightful supporters and fans; otherwise, it wouldn’t be rated so highly. And fortunately, every nose perceives differently.
I speak solely for myself and have consciously used the term smell and not fragrance in the text, as I associate fragrance with positive feelings. I found Megamare to be quite terrible. It caused me nausea and headaches.
I definitely recommend staying away from a blind purchase. It is very specific.
So, after this critique, something good at the end. I have decided to give away the 5ml minus the test spray from my sharing, as I have no intention of letting Megamare come near my nose again.
