This EdT smells like dark red rose, unlike most rose EdT, and not like pink rose, wild rose or tea rose. That's why I bought it again on Ebay, Yves Rocher unfortunately doesn't produce it anymore for a while. Now I was astonished how much carnation is in there, I had not remembered it that way. Maybe the scent has changed a bit over the years. But I find that when it has a longer effect, the velvety scent of red roses dominates. I like it, even if more for late rather than early summer, I prefer a light, fresher rose scent (e.g. from Provence et Nature: Rose eternelle, that smells fresh
after yellow roses, which are also shown on the bottle).

I find this perfume good for winter festivals such as New Year's Eve or carnival (less Christmas). It smells a little bit like violets and has something sparkling, champagne-like for me. It's a pity Yves Rocher doesn't have it anymore,

For me "Roma" is my favourite winter scent so far. Especially the "old", heavier one, but also the new one (already had both, currently the old one again via Ebay). I think it smells a little like a winter pine forest, spicy, and there is also some lemon peel. Summery scents like lily of the valley, jasmine or black currant are less noticeable.
