Vanilla Powder Sugar Veil
In the fog, the world still rests,
Softly dreams sugar foam:
Soon you will see, when the veil falls,
The iris sky unobstructed,
Spring-strong, the muted world
Flows in warm pastels.
Thank you, esteemed Mr. Mörike, for the inspiration (September Morning), which I have reinterpreted for this powdery-sweet perfume. A wonderfully powdery iris greets you (after a fortunately very low-alcohol start) and hints at the first wisps of vanilla powder sugar. The sugar foam comes non-sticky, rather also powdery - just like the feeling of powdered sugar on still dry lips at the very first bite. And before one can get a sense of heavy sweetness (as some gourmands tend to bring), a few delicate peonies make an appearance, nestled on sun-dried wood.
The packaging matches the scent: delicate lilac, noble gold, transparent bottle suggest gentle understatement. Even the P/L is tempting enough to bite. The only downside is that the sillage unfortunately isn't a beast. Overall, however, one can confidently indulge here if they enjoy floral-powdery-sweet fragrances!

Delicious!
Then I'll provide you with something more to read, since no one else seems to dare so far.
Once you've survived the first few minutes of alcohol haze, the flavor carnival begins:
first, the spoon is dipped into thick, warm vanilla cream *slurp*
then you sip through a straw in the cool rice milk *slurp*
finally, you take a sniff of the bouquet *sniff*
and off you go on the wave track, which makes increasingly shorter stops, so that eventually it no longer goes up and down, but just around in circles. But it feels like you're not sitting on hard plastic seats, but on 5-meter-thick clouds of cotton, to stick with the imagery.
And the ride isn't even expensive; the bottle is quite a sight as well. With Macaroon Cream, you really can't go wrong if you enjoy milky-vanilla sweetness without the risk of stickiness.

Je ne sais quoi #2
A fragrance that made me visit the perfume store multiple times because it captivated me so much. Until I suddenly realized why I like it so much: it is the more floral sister of "Nude Bouquet Intense | Zara," my current favorite scent. In a comparison of fragrance notes, there is only a 45% match. This may also be because Zara, for example, only mentions "floral notes" alongside iris (which could possibly refer to rose, jasmine, and mimosa).
The opening is somewhat different.
The Birkholz opens with a beautiful fresh-sparkling bergamot, supported by mandarin, which transitions wonderfully into the softer floral heart. Like peeling a mandarin: first energetically sparkling, then fresh-sweet when you eat the mandarin. However, the heart expands so much with the flowers that only a hint of the remaining citrus peels is left from the mandarin & bergamot. At this point, the two fragrances begin to resemble each other very closely.
The iris eventually takes over the bouquet, becoming more and more powdery like iris and leading into the gentle base of sandalwood, musk, and vanilla. The finish of both fragrances is also very similar.
Now I can only hope that at least one of the two fragrances will not be discontinued too quickly.

Winter Cuddle Blanket
This scent warms and nourishes with cozy cashmeran and sweet tuberose, which remains non-sticky. With this tuberose, I don't get the (unfortunately) hated bubblegum vibes, like with "L'Interdit (2018) (Eau de Parfum) | Givenchy." The tuberose here stays floral-sweet-lush and makes the fragrance very feminine. Amber adds a bit of fireplace feeling, and jasmine keeps it floral; otherwise, too much tuberose sweetness would almost tip the fragrance into gourmand territory.
The scent smells very high-quality and has a good sillage.

Unisex Clean Scent
At first, an alcoholic start that transforms into freshly washed white cotton. The clean impression is supported by lily of the valley and ends on a creamy base (woods & musk).
The sillage could definitely be better, as the scent is versatile and suits anyone who wants to feel clean and refreshed! Therefore, in my opinion, it is not a going-out/evening fragrance.
