A fragrance that fills the rooms...24 hrs
Well, as it always is, you see a video about a shopping tour in Dubai... along with these amazing bottles... and then you go through all the fragrances of the brand on Parfumo and check out the notes. Testing an Arabic perfume just like that isn't so easy, so I had to go for a blind buy. I settled on Bahrain, as the scent notes appealed to me the most. Amber and vanilla? That should work, I like that... I thought to myself.
The next day, a friend came to visit. As enthusiastic as I always am, I told her about my latest "discovery." She chuckled and said that what we know about oriental fragrances here in Europe is not comparable to the "original" Arabic scents. These are said to be significantly stronger or more intense. I should mention that my friend has Arabic roots and knows a bit more about this than I do.
Well... curiosity once again triumphed over reason, and I ordered the perfume.
With customs and import, it took about half a month, and then it was here.

Regarding the presentation and packaging, I must say, I have never seen anything so lavish!
Packed in a box, then in a velvet pouch, and finally in a "mahogany" wooden box.
And this bottle, so beautiful, so elegant... so extravagant!

But now let’s get to the scent.
AND yes... my friend was (unfortunately) right! We tested it together.
Just one spray was enough to flood the entire room with the scent.
I have never smelled such a strong fragrance before!
To my "unfortunately":
The scent develops on my skin as very leathery/spicy for the first 3 hours.
Only much later does a beautiful blend of vanilla come through, and the scent becomes softer, yes more pleasant for me. Generally, I must say... the perfume is well made. My boyfriend also had to try it out once. On him, I liked it much better.
For myself, the leathery note is just too strong, and the wait for the vanilla is too long.

A few more notes on longevity. The scent has a good progression and really lasts 24 hours. As mentioned, it becomes softer at some point, and the leatheriness fades a bit.
Overall, I see the fragrance more for men who have no problem standing out with a scent. Because yes... you won’t smell anything else.

"When you don't have bread, let them eat cake"
So or something similar is the legendary saying of Marie Antoinette.
Whether she actually said it, no one really knows today.

When I first smelled Diadema by Moresque,
I immediately thought of her. How she sits at a lavish
table in Versailles. In a pastel-colored, opulent dress and her light blonde
updo. On the gold and white decorated porcelain plate, there are a
few macarons as well as a spoonful of crème brûlée with sweet cherries.
It is exactly this image that touches me so deeply with this fragrance.

The fragrance itself begins with a very, very sweet cherry-vanilla opening. A citrus note is only in the background and very faintly noticeable. Unfortunately, I cannot perceive the floral notes individually. The sweet dessert feeling lingers on my skin for a good 8 hours.
After about 4 hours, the scent becomes somewhat powdery, even slightly resinous on my skin.
After that, and until the end, I predominantly perceive the vanilla with the caramel.

In conclusion, I must say that Diadema is one of my favorites when it comes to sweet fragrances.

Finally, a Rose Scent for Me
For a long time, I was searching for a suitable rose scent.

In my circle of acquaintances, Delina was often suggested to me.
Unfortunately, I don't really like the scent, as it comes across as very girlish.
Therefore, I continued my search for the -for me- perfect rose scent.
I then stumbled upon Eidola on YouTube and found it quite interesting based on the description.

As for the scent itself, it is not an extremely sweet rose fragrance but rather a fresh, unisex version with jasmine in the background. In any case, these notes are most prominent to me at first. In the drydown, the woody notes emerge, which makes the scent perfect for me.

Would you like some black cherry with that?
Sometimes you come across a fragrance like a virgin to a child.

In my case, it was exactly like that:
My boyfriend had been complaining for some time... he needed a new belt.
We then looked around and ultimately ended up at WOMO.
Quickly, my attention turned to the perfumes, and after a short consideration,
Black Amber landed in our shopping cart.

The first thing he said was: "Why cherry? I don't want to smell like a woman."
You have to know... he doesn't like anything sweet or even lovely in perfumes... leather... tobacco or even more leather... but definitely no fruit!

Well... after almost two weeks, the package from Italy arrived.
Of course, once again at a parcel station, so I had to go pick it up first.
Back home... my boyfriend tore the package from my hands... opened the perfume first and
sprayed it on both wrists.

And then... a cloud of black cherry and tobacco rose up and overwhelmed us.
After 10 minutes (and a bit of airing out), everything was okay again, and the scent became pleasant.

About the scent itself:
I perceive the black cherry the most. Then comes the tobacco.
Maybe I should mention that my nose is not very experienced yet, so sometimes I find it hard to filter out each note.
The scent is not sweet, very masculine, and more suited for men over 30.
At first, it is quite strong and very room-filling. For my boyfriend, the black cherry came out the most at the end. After 10 minutes, the scent becomes softer and more harmonious and doesn’t overwhelm everyone nearby.

Black Amber is not for people who prefer subtle and inconspicuous fragrances. This scent also has a very strong sillage after 5 hours + and smells unique.

My boyfriend said: "The scent is very good! A fragrance without all the sweet stuff."
I have to say, when my boyfriend finds a scent "suitable," it feels like winning the lottery for me!
