Despite many brands and products aim to depict what it's like to travel or aim to inspire the wearer to an imaginary journey, Fueguia does it really well along with very, very few others.
Perhaps it's the use of some raw material that are circumscribed in a specific area or the use of a recurring base that makes the whole line special.
Humboldt opens up with a sparkling, green lemon stem accord followed by the amertume of the passion fruit that soon takes the lead of the fragrance. It's not very long until the base of tangerine is revealed which is in some way deprived from its fructosic nuance conveying a note of warm dew. It must be the use of some vegetal pheromones that enrich the wet base of this fragrance of a subtle millet and soy milk note.
This perfume narrates successfully of warmth, the "far away" and the "open space", it's absolutely not about an object or a cocktail. Suitable for body and mind refreshment all year round.

These are the questions that "http" by Bond No. 9 manages to answer through the notes of (in my opinion) synthetic pineapple, berries and apple in the opening. The effect that you get out of this synthetic feel is fresh and newly manufactured plastic that transitions to a less aggressive variation of the patchouly-moss-vetiver accord. In the very end a light musk cleans the composition to evoke a note of clean laundry.
If you didn't get the reference, it's Aventus, and if you look for a greener alternative of it, this is the place to be. Greener pineapple, greener berries.

This has always been a favorite of mine: an extremely addictive lemon summer scent suitable for easy refreshment with a slight yet enough amount of story-telling and harmony. It smells like lemon peel, hints of orange peel here and there, with very little touches of cypress and cedarwood that provide the fragrance some more aromaticity and a final broom note to eat away anything sour. It surely dries down more sour than its opening but it's not a sour fragrance. You could compare it to Eau d'Hadrien by Goutal but that one is more ephemeral and woody oriented: take the lemon note and think about it as amplified and succulent.

The first time I tried this perfume I was unprepared and it stongly repelled me, I seemed to smell such a potent blood note combined with tobacco that it gave me a rotting vibe. The more I was able to test this creation on other types of skin the more it turned out birch and gunpowder would be more prominent on my skin while tea and whisky would be more detectable on my relatives' skin.
After extensive testing this open up on my skin as an iron sword piercing through flesh while drying down to a beautiful whisky, tea and opium barrel sailing back.

A very rich and very complex fragrance consisting of a fruity opening of peach and a pineapple feel for a cocktail effect overlayed on top of dirty animalic oils, resins and dirty woods. The notes that help the transition of the fruityness to the animalic side are in my opinion rosemary, geranium and cistus ladanifer, which also make this fragrance a tad feminine.
If you're a Roja consumer already I assume you will feel this as a bit safer and if you're looking to approach the brand for the first time it may surprise you but I wouldn't call this an overly offending fragrance.
