Oh so much older than before. This was another stumble to the days of youth, and the peach orchards along the lake. It doesn;t hit you like so many others, rather it gently slaps itself onto your cheek. Where it resides most of the summer resisting the swimming and mud wrestling so common at its introduction celebration. It has a precise toughness that is forgiving as the days count down and the fruit ripens on the trees and the vine, Oh to be back in the peach orchards once again.

I first experienced White Linen the year it came out. I had for years been a fan of Surreal and the girls that wore it well. Then this basket case of laundry came along. Its name implied the summertime scent of clean bed sheets on the line, flapping in the breeze. Far from it, that first sniff nearly made me nauseous. I had rather sniff my own dirty laundry that whatever this was. forty plus years and that has not changed. There is a bottle of this obnoxiousness on the counter only because it can replace Jean Nate' when it comes to repelling animals from the furniture.

Woodsy Fruity and strong. Long lasting and not ahead of itself. A scent anyone can wear with confidence. When we wear it together it's as if we are one, no competing for attention. When she wears it alone it brings a smile to everyone she greets. She wears it in winter and her coat has a lasting reminder of that pleasantry.

Takes one back to the High School days, a clean soft floral and somewhat fruity combination, not your mothers perfume, and not your daughters either. This one can be all your own. She wears it as a daily midweek surprise. It isn't overbearing, yet I sense it in her car days later. Very playful yet not distracting, a good flirty scent.

It's all in the name. This is what she wears when it's just the two of us getting dinner and heading home. It is the one on her pillow when I sneak over to snuggle, The Plum and Vanilla are not overbearing. There is a sweetness in the air. Love this scent in late spring and summer, holds up well in the heat.
