Flop on Second Glance
Just a heads up. This is my first comment on a fragrance and I am by no means an expert when it comes to scents. I still hope to simplify the decision of whether or not to buy this fragrance for some of you.
I had the opportunity to test the EDT before, but I remember it being way too sweet for my taste. Therefore, I was pleased to read in the first comments here about the EDP that they have reduced the overpowering sweetness and highlighted the minty/fresh notes instead.
When I first smelled it, I thought to myself "yes, I could really like this" - Not too fresh, significantly less sweetness but still sweet enough that it doesn't remind me of shower gel or anything like that.
Unfortunately, a bit disappointing, the scent after a few minutes reminds me of a mix of chewing gum & hairspray. Headaches were pretty much guaranteed. I definitely regret this blind buy. Even though the longevity and sillage have improved with the reformulation of the EDT, I probably won't be a fan of the line anymore.
Oh, and who imagined leather in there?
