Flirty
Opens strong citrus and fruits.. Grapefruit, Peach and raspberry are well blended. Then the florals join in, lotus making it a bit aquatic on me and I can also detect the violet. Musk and wood come with the dry down but the fruits and florals are still there also.
Summer flirt is sparkling without being overly citrus, and fruity without being overly sweet, a bit tart without going sour or green. I usually avoid grapefruit and violet but I have no problems with them in this.
The throw was decent and it lasted a few hours, pretty good overall on my skin for this type of scent. - I'm coping my review onto basenotes & fragrantica out of pure laziness =)
soft Brocade
Brocade as a soft, sweet, powdery floral on me. The only note I can really pick out is a vanilla that comes into play after about a half hour. Sillage is low at a few inches, lasts about 3 hrs. A soft 'innocent' type scent that shouldn't bother anyone anywhere. I can see me occasionally wearing this when I want to wear a scent but have it not really noticable. However I prefer more noticeable scents with a punch. A plus if not a hit for Avon.
Regence by Avon
This is not my kind of scent but.. My mom sold Avon for about 40 years and I think she was her own best customer LOL..
I don't have a trained nose so I can't be specific but when I apply Regence I first get aldehydes with a lemony citrus smell. As it wears some musk comes into play and it becomes soapy and a bit powdery and slowly fades out the same.
It is a strong scent with decent sillage and lasts about 4 hours. Overall, it smells classy but not high quality to me, quite good for Avon but just not my personal type.
ambition .. none here
I tested this at the store today. My only surprise is that it is nothing like I expected from the notes given. I got a very weak, fruity floral, mostly fruity. Other than the raspberry, nothing specific stands out. A touch sweet, a touch of citrus but overall very blah.
Throw was only skin level at best and it didn't last 2 full hours on me..
This is the 2nd of Jordin's scents I have tried, the other being Because of You. Unfortunately both were disappointments as far as strength and lasting power. Your millage may vary.
Toasted Coconut
I have the roll on oil. Opens very sweet vanilla with sandalwood and toasted coconut. The vanilla is strong while the coconut is just a backup player, noticeable but not as much as I would have liked or even expected by the name.
It quickly dries down to a warm, sweet, skin level scent on me and I get nice whiffs of it as I move around hours later. So although I like the super sweet, comforting warmth of this it doesn't pack enough punch for a daily scent for me. I do enjoy it as evening lounging around the housed scent.
