In my opinion, it smells very nice. Although Rammstein is always very smoky, I find that this one tones down the smoke a bit and brings out more citrusy, woody, earthy notes. Very natural.
What I have read about rubber tires, I truly cannot confirm, no matter how hard I try. As already hinted, the scent has no synthetic qualities at all.
With every sniff, it gives the impression of being in a rainy forest with fog. I think that’s great, as I consider myself quite an eco-friendly person.
Longevity and sillage:
The longevity itself is not as bad as everyone says. Still below average. It could also be an EDT. The sillage is generally not very strong; even shortly after application, the scent is rather close to the skin.
BUT: The Waidmannsheil Intense is not an option to compensate for this. It smells completely different (e.g. soapy) and lacks the refinement of the regular Waidmanns Heil with its natural balance.

Needed a few tries
...but I decided to buy it. And the more I smell it, the more I like it.
The opening is mechanical, strong, asphalt-like, and hits you hard in the nose. A top note that I find very interesting.
In the heart note, I primarily perceive ink, and the birch tar is also very present. At this point, the scent transitions from the workshop to a creamy yet rough, sweet syrup that is heavily influenced by ink.
The base note is creamy sweet and radiates a pleasant warmth. The inky aspect fades away, and the scent is simply creamy sweet. Almost a bit "mainstream."
So to summarize: It starts off intense and ends softly... but it takes quite a while until it really finishes. The longevity is remarkable, and the sillage remains very good even after a long time.
The prerequisite for finding it great is being open to an unusual top note and liking the sweetness.

fits Rammstein's character, polarizes, and is simultaneously so wearable.

Yes, the scent is intense! Those who enjoy aquatic, fresh fragrances will probably faint at the first sniff.
My initial reaction was simply a "Wow!" with a slight grimace. At first, the scent is very, very smoky, fiery, and alcoholic.
But after just a few minutes, the fragrance completely transforms, becoming fresher and pleasantly woody. All the described notes are definitely detectable to my nose.
The scent is 100% pure masculinity. It lasts unusually long on me. In my opinion, the bottle is designed just as cool as the MSRP suggests.
Definitely one of the best fragrances from Rammstein! The bottle, uniqueness, longevity, quality & fragrance notes for the price are, in my view, outstanding. I do not regret the purchase at all. On the contrary, I couldn't be happier that I "dared" to buy it (even without testing) despite the reviews.
Anyone who likes smoky or slightly stronger scents will be thrilled.
