Explosive, intense, hypnotizing

How can this explosion in a bottle have such a bad rating….

A tank freshly filled up, a kick and throttle, burn the asphalt and hit the road with fury for 12 hours. Lighting up a cigarette to comedown eventually.

Spicy, smoky, warm, leathery.
Reminds me a lot of Animalique from Byredo. Last the same or even a little longer. For a 100€ difference, and a sexier packaging.
An absolute blast for winter.

Not what you expect but nonetheless daring and unique on its own, A Layering MONSTER!

While the scent itself reminds me more of molasses, burnt matches and paint rather than gasoline its still somewhat interesting on its own. Its definitely unique but to me smells more like a paint workshop than a gas station. While it was a bit disappointing by itself its insane longevity accidentally revealed the insane layering power Gasolin holds to me. This fragrance is the perfect layering tool to corrupt otherwise nice (especially floral/clean) fragrances into really interesting evil versions of themselves. Gasolin is also able to make some dark smelling fragrances (like for example Montale Dark Vanilla) smell straight up devious and twisted.

I bought this for 20€ at rossmann which is an absolute steal for this layering powerhouse, id 100% recommand to pick it up when you have the opportunity to!

(dont expect the cap of the bottle to last, the plastic connecting it to the bottle will break faster than you can count to 1)

Since i always want to add a song the fragrance reminds me of to a review, even though this is a rammstein fragrance my pick for this would be Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love

my honest review

this definitely turns heads. it smells like a mechanic. that‘s really all i can say. there‘s a noticeable rubbing alcohol note too. and be careful, it‘s easy to become noseblind to this.

i once wore 2 sprays of this and got insulted. not because it smelled bad, but because it was super strong and everyone within like 20 feet of me could smell it. lol.

Photorealistic depiction of a student who popped a ballpoint ink pen in his mouth while chewing on it..

I sampled this cause i was intrigued and well, I was! At first it opens with ink and this kind of sweet smell, my family said that It reminded them of turpentine. Later on It smells more wearable, can feel some leather and a little bit of gasoline. Overall I get a ballpoint ink smell, like someone popped a pen in their mouth while chewing on it, also kind of like marzipan since i associate It's taste and smell with the smell of pen ink (If you know what I mean)

Lasts a nice 7h ( or more), has nice projection and sticks to clothes like crazy. I personally wouldn't buy a full bottle for daily wear or any wear, but I could see it as an occasional fragrance to reach for, nothing bad per say.

Too much subjectivity

I have to say that I can hardly stand the scent. I don't find it particularly versatile, let alone great. But instead of giving it a 0.0 or 0.5, I say that the fragrance, for what it is, is really incredibly well made. I can pick out all the individual notes, and overall it is well balanced.

Especially with such unique fragrances, it is important to remain fair, and that's where I connect.
To everyone who rated the perfume between 0.0-2.0. Why?
What does the scent get so incredibly wrong? What do you expect from a fragrance called "Gasolin"?
One should expect that it won't be gourmand, sweet, fresh, or anything else. The notes are right here and in several fragrance descriptions.

I hope this review will help some.
Please give the perfume a chance and be realistic in your expectations.
