The highly explosive gasoline drum
is already a great presentation of this fragrance. Plus the Gasoline label and the highly flammable flame. This all shows that it is highly explosive here.
The fragrance... yes, the fragrance. It's not that easy to pin down. First of all, the first smell blew my nose off and catapulted me into something I'd never smelled before.
At first I was somehow repelled by the scent, then again you could say I was drawn to it in ecstasy. This scent really hits the spot and that's exactly what it does. It is strong, provocative, animalistic and unmistakable.
Here, my initial aversion has turned into total enthusiasm. Tar, petrol, some kind of charred smell hits the olfactory organs and sticks to the nasal mucosa as if a new road were being paved. The engine starts immediately at 100 octane.
I was so blown away by the smell and my first thought was, it's so shit that it's already good again, or rather top class.
When I smell this scent I am somewhere else, but I can't even say where that is exactly, it's something like junkyard, tarred road but in a positive sense.
H/S neat and can be seen. The scent progression is linear and it doesn't change much.
I always find fragrances or scents that trigger something in me an interesting and rare component. Not many fragrances manage that. But this one has already led to a new tarred road in my nose.
Hats off to this bold and daring fragrance by Rammstein, and the quality of the packaging. At least on a par with Jean Paul Gaultier and the price with discount at Müller....sagenhaft.
Take heart.
