rather Rose for the Cafe
Yes, I have to agree, anyone looking for coffee here will find little.. At most, a light creamy cappuccino note in the heart notes.

But anyone searching for a beautiful, creamy dark, woody rose will be delighted here.

Already in the top note, saffron gives the May rose the necessary kick and fine freshness, the opening is very delicate!

After 15 minutes, Cafe Rose becomes creamy and rose-red.. the red petals blend very subtly with the very soft cappuccino note that I personally find really delicious.

No need to fear patchouli here, it appears, if at all, in a very refined manner as a carrier for the rich amber. I personally don't really catch a whiff of incense, but a bit of sandalwood allows the scent to linger for a long time. I can still perceive the rose, and it remains a very nice dark red.

The longevity on my skin is unfortunately not as phenomenal as with the other Tom Fords, after 4-5 hours there's only a gentle rosewood veil..
However, it performs excellently on clothing! There it maintains its usual Tom Ford longevity of many, many hours or days.

In any case, worth testing for lovers of special and abstract rose scents, but not so much for gourmand lovers, I fear..

Lys Extraordinaire, luminous, phenomenal :=)
This is going to be tough!! I haven't come across such an extraordinary perfume in a LONG time..

And I truly mean absolutely: unique! Very beautiful, because no matter how hard I try, no perfume smells like this.

Upon spraying, I am surprised by a hissing, cracking FRESHNESS: CLINK!
The combination of zesty bergamot, anise, mandarin, and orange sounds fruity, but it comes across very bright and green!

A few minutes later, I perceive the bitter green galbanum. Just blooming white-green lilies now unfold in radiant innocence (little do they know they are actually used for cemeteries... :=)

Narcissus and rose cuddle up to the lily in a velvety manner and embrace it, but do not bury it. I also think I can sniff a bit of green moss... a moss bed for the illustrious flower girls.

The whole composition almost gives the impression of a chypre... and yes, when I think about it, it’s just a tiny bit reminiscent of Sisley's Eau du Soir but thankfully without its harshness and heartless coldness :)

Jasmine briefly sticks her arrogant little nose into the affairs of the flower girls, but the others are in the majority.

The entire composition sparkles, sings, and jubilates with life! Zesty and fine, noble and fresh, innocent and pure. It smells like a morning in paradise.

Quite extraordinary in my opinion and a feast for the nose.
I haven't found a single comment about this online... except for a few Russian ones :( it was a blind buy here at Parfumo.

Absolutely worth testing! In my opinion, the scent is totally underrated!! :=)

Truly a dream of Iris...
Last night I dreamt of you my Iris,
sweet and dark, sometimes clingingly cold,
sometimes warm and touching and velvety..
cradling you in my arms
my nose buried in your neck,
flowery powdery wafts are nearly strangling me.
I am addicted to your scent.
I m inhaling you deeply...
Your beauty is unwavering you seem untouchable but
you re mine.
I really love you my Iris, madly deeply Truly.

I really like all three Marialux, but
Truly is my true love.

First an unattainable, cold-metallic Iris, then the warm amber notes, I think I smell a bit of vanilla and tuberose.
Such a white-flowered fleshiness!

A sea of flowers in the drydown. Velvety soft and quite powdery. Really a bit like the Mallesche Iris Poudre.

Pure enchantment, a must for Iris lovers! :=)

Metallic Green Rose
This is quite a powerful (adult?) perfume from JhaG.
The first few minutes are not very pleasant for my nose.
A rather piercing, sour metallic smell makes me recoil. And I already fear the worst. However, this impression changes after a few minutes into more bearable green notes.

After about 10-15 minutes, a very beautiful intense and creamy rose appears, supported by patchouli, which becomes distinctly noticeable after 20 minutes.
Also, tolu balsam and a strange note, which I think must be castoreum, come through. For me, it is not a true chypre.

After half an hour, a base of patchouli, rose, and vanilla remains. And the three together play a melody that is not so crazy at all.
For me, a hit, if you overlook the first 10 minutes.

I don’t consider this perfume suitable for patchouli haters :)

Pudrige Tubereuse absolute
Here it is finally in its most beautiful, fleshy-floral depth, my absolute dream tuberose! :=) For a long time, I avoided tuberose-heavy scents. I found them musty or urinous depending on the supporting components. After several years of fragrance experience, it suddenly revealed itself to me. I could appreciate it in scents like Michael Kors, Nuit de Tubereuse, DSH Tubereuse, and my then favorite, the grass-green Carnal Flower Tuberose. But somehow, there was always a certain distance (a bit too piercing or too dull-musty :)

Then, by chance, a sample of the Goutal fragrance came under my nose. PHEW!! WOW! So this is Tuberose Absolue?? Nothing else to mask/intensify, etc??
Here, the tuberose has a soft fluffy powdery face, but still made of flesh and blood :) I can't compare this scent to anything familiar; it leaves me speechless.. it is a bit earthy, floral, buttery, and powdery, and indeed tuberose-like, but how do you describe tuberose to someone who has never smelled it?
Unfortunately, I can't.. but I hope that many more tuberose lovers will get to know and enjoy this scent.

And unlike many other Goutals, this fragrance clings to the skin for a long time (almost 7 hours on me). Bravo!
