A Touch of Rome’s Golden Age: Electimuss Presents the Latest Creation of the “Emperor” Collection

Inspired by the gladiators of ancient Rome, niche perfume brand Electimuss introduces the powerful unisex fragrance "Gladiator Oud".

The fragrance combines warm and spicy notes of saffron and cumin oil with a subtle honey accord and Egyptian rose geranium before transitioning to a base note of earthy and woody notes of Indonesian patchouli, amber, Atlas cedarwood oil and vetiver.

Master perfumer Julien Rasquinet describes "Gladiator Oud" as a tribute to the masculinity and honor of the gladiator. The animalic facet of the oud emphasizes the fierce and courageous nature of the gladiator, while the golden notes of honey and hay celebrate his success. The fragrance is meant to embody the elegance and sophistication that envelops the gladiator as soon as he enters the arena.

"Gladiator Oud" joins the "Emperor" collection, which includes "Amber Aquilaria" and "Octavian" fragrances. Electimuss has been inspired by the epic stories and rituals of the Romans since its inception in 2015. Fragrances played a crucial role in the everyday life of ancient civilization - from the use of rose water in fountains to the use of scents in purification rituals, celebrations, feasts, seductions and worship.

The flacon of "Gladiator Oud" captivates with its artistic design: while the lower part is made of violet and brown tinted glass, the upper part shimmers in delicate rose gold metallic. In addition, an emblem with the image of a proud eagle on a purple background recalls the power of the Roman Empire.

The fragrance will be available from March 9 in bottle sizes of 100 ml.
