Fruity, Resinous, Intense: "Nectar Oud" by bdk Parfums

The French fragrance house bdK Parfums presents "Nectar Oud", a new unisex composition in which dark resins and woods are enveloped in fruity sweetness.

Like Gustav Klimt's gilded canvases, on which gold becomes matter, light and movement, Nectar Oud Extrait plays with texture, depth and olfactory richness. Every drop evokes a precious glow, every trace is a golden adornment on the skin.

The top note of "Nectar Oud" combines the fruity-sweet notes of raspberries with the warm, slightly metallic spice of saffron - an invigorating opening that also hints at depth. As the fragrance develops, a smoky heart note unfolds: oud, cypriol and incense merge into a dense, resinous accord with a distinctive woody signature. The composition is rounded off with creamy benzoin and the dry elegance of Atlas cedar, which lend the fragrance structure and depth.

The Extrait de Parfum was created by Anne Flipo for the Collection Exclusive. The French master perfumer describes the composition as an interplay of opposites: The light raspberry note gains dark depth and intensity, while the oud wood is infused with fruity sweetness and softness.
