A freshly ground pinch of Madagascar pepper lies in the forest on a purple blanket sprinkled with sweets. Sounds a little bizarre now, but that's exactly how Blackpepper from Comme des Garçons smells to me. The perfumer Antoine Maisondieu has really created a very complex fragrance here, which nobody imitates so fast, the pepper note dominates at first but is then caught up by the cedar wood, Akigalawood and tonka bean, and sounds pleasantly warm soft with musk chords. A self-contained scent chord system that can hardly be surpassed in creativity, innovation and "savoir-vivre"
