Really nice
Tested it now for 2 days and I love the smell. The opening is nice but the mid and dry down are divine.
Unfortunately the performance is not good enough for me and also I get a bit of an headache if I over spray.
So I probably won't buy a full bottle although I love the scent :(
I hope the perfume version will fix these issues.

Should have called it Aventus Elixir
Lol it's mostly a clone of sauvage elixir, just with pineapple instead of grapefruit at the top and minus the licorice.
The weak disguise of calling this an absolu instead of an elixir is almost comical.
It's not even smelling higher quality (maybe a tiny bit) and it's not even as artistic / daring as the spices are way toned down and more "safe".
It's maybe a bit less screechy, but I think it's kinda part of the charm of sauvage elixir and comes with the brutal performance. Here the performance is more like average.
Fore me the choice is quite easy. I clearly prefer sauvage elixir.

Le male elixir with fruity, synthetic plum
For me it's like le male elixir plus a fruity, synthetic plum with from time to time a light coconut*ish note. Similar to the scandal absolu Plum / coconut*ish accord.
Pretty similar to the elixir in smell and performance. So kinda redundant but it's also quite apart with the distinct fruity note. But that's almost the only difference for me. Maybe it's also a bit less harsh compared to the elixir, probably because of less tobacco.
Pretty good I like it. But seems maybe even a bit more sweet and juvenile than the elixir. And also even a bit more unisex. So I think I still prefer the elixir although both I'd say are pretty good.

Tried today and I find it really bad. Not only in comparison to the OG but in general as a perfume. And I'm not writing this out of spite. The OG is really good, but it was not my thing.
For me the new one is like a quite bad Armani Code Parfum with an Accord I really don't like and find a bit disgusting. Maybe the coumarin overdose in combination with the hay accord or something.
Wow I really had a bad feeling with Francis Kurkdjian because for me he is no where near the genius of François Demachy who is maybe my favorite parfumeur.
But damn, that's just straight bad and can't even compete with the uninspired competition like Code Parfum and the like.
I fear the worst for Dior fragrances :(

Outstanding perfume, especially for the Price!
With a Coupon Code I paid a bit above 100 € for the 100 ml bottled and for that price it's a steal!
Outstanding quality for the price, an intoxicating, amazing smell. Quite masculine, spicy, a bit oudy and leathery but with an addicting kind of subtle sweetness which for me makes this fragrance a masterpiece.
Love it all the way. Only downside, my batch seems to have a bit of a performance issue. But maybe it just needs to mature a bit.
I am happy I bought a full bottle and I am sure once this fragrance is discontinued it will be highly sought after. If I had the money, I'd buy a backup bottle.
