Santal Santaler Santalum
Hidden in an old attic, there you stand
Your ornate drawers all closed
I can't comprehend it
At some point, my hands had to reach for it
Suddenly, with one leap
In my hand lay a Santalum treasure

One of my first niche fragrances, and just to preface, I love this house.
I find the sandalwood comes through incredibly authentically, but it is well rounded and captured by the myrrh and spices.
All in all, a beautiful sandalwood scent where the focus is clearly on this note. For some, it may be too gnarly, but I think that’s what makes this fragrance distinctive and exciting. Especially on rainy and cold days, my Santalum is a great companion.
Also, due to its strong longevity and good sillage, I often reach for it when I'm looking for something more enduring.
Another plus is that it layers wonderfully with other fragrances as a woody sandalwood base.
Sometimes I even indulge in a few sprays before going to sleep, to enjoy this unique and very calming sandalwood scent.
A clear recommendation for sandalwood enthusiasts like me :)
So, Santal Santaler Santalum ;)

ZAHARA
It is 30 degrees in Berlin, the air is sweating, my companion and I storm like barbarians to the plastic rack where the fragrances are stacked high. On which no dust particles have a chance to settle. "Is it there?" he cried in pleading tones. His bulging paw went off course and catapulted itself towards the creamily appealing bottle. It happened so quickly, the cap flew through the air. Finally, the word came like the scream of a creature from other worlds. My calloused hand rushed clumsily to the test strips, trembling and soaked in nervousness, I wanted to finally tear apart the unblemished paper strips. But as time slipped away for our exploration, they slipped from my hand like grains of sand. Like a vulture, my companion fished the virgin paper weave from the scorching hot air. Hiss hiss, those were the sounds of a rattlesnake condemning its graceful venom towards the manuscript. The paper stick strutted towards my olfactory bulb, and an armed snow-white, giant piglet galloped into my nasal vestibule. Sniff sniff. Who are you?
PATSCHHHHH! BAMMMM! KAWUMSSSS! Three blows of citrus club right in the face. I see black, pitch black like the blackcurrants lying flat in the cellar. Suddenly GINGER was there!!!! I didn't know who then woke me up, Amber. We grew tired, Zahara faded. Slowly I floated to the checkout, the sun was rising. Finally, I could call the key to Zahara my own.

Pineapple in Your Face
First of all, it should be said that this fragrance definitely goes in the direction of Creed Aventus. However, the main focus here is on the pineapple, which comes across extremely fresh and particularly well at the beginning. In fact, I'm not usually the type for such fruity bombs, but this one has hit hard. The price is also quite affordable. The longevity is okay; I get about 6-7 hours on my skin. Perhaps those around me perceive it for longer. It radiates well, especially at the beginning. Personally, this juicy little scent is great for wearing in the evening, for example when grilling with friends or just having a wonderful night. Especially in summer, I can well imagine wearing Rave Now at a rave ;) In conclusion, it can be said that you get a top fragrance for quite little money, which is why you can just rave easily and affordably. So let pineapple bombs hit your faces and rave now ;)

Warm Lavender Field

A hymn to Amouage Sunshine Man

In lavender-like glow it glimmers,
the scent of Sunshine Man blossoms.
A warm evening, yellowish warm,
it spreads its touch on straw and charm.

Like a sun it shines bright,
the scent of Amouage, wonderful.
It lifts the soul, brings us to trance,
and lets us fly, without limits.

The head trembles, the heart glows,
in this scent, everything is good.
It captures summer, so pure,
and lets it gently drift in the wind.

Amouage Sunshine Man, oh you!
You are the magic that holds us,
in your scent, so full of power,
we feel young and free again.

So be praised, noble perfume,
you are the heaven that kisses us.
In lavender-like glow it glimmers,
the scent of Sunshine Man, it blossoms.

A Smoky Autumn
I accidentally stumbled upon this little gem and was able to acquire it at a quite reasonable price.
After much anticipation, the scent arrived and I sprayed it directly on my wrist. At first, I perceive strong and dark notes of oud, but also a certain spiciness marked by a rather strong smokiness. Over time, the fragrance becomes increasingly lovely and exhibits a pleasant smokiness reminiscent of a small cozy campfire. Now I would like to share my associations that I connect with this little fragrance. It is that beautiful feeling of walking through the streets on a cold, gray autumn day, with beautiful reddish and orange-colored trees adorning the path. And from afar comes the wonderful smoky, woody scent of a cozy fireplace that fills you with warmth and comfort. Although this autumn magic does not last forever, it is definitely worth being tested.
