Russian Adams best work
#Oud zhen was recommended to me by a Parfumo and just blindly added to the collection. The opening reminds me of incense sticks as they are used eg in temples in Thailand, but more and more notes are added, which develop into an olfactory masterpiece. I am happy every time I smell this fragrance and despite the mass of fragrances I have already tested, only Russian Adam has managed to trigger this feeling.
This smoky oriental DNA which is the base note in most of the fragrances in the current collection really represents a form of art for me.
#Oud Zhen develops beautifully further over the day and is still clearly perceptible after many hours.
The sillage is already very strong after spraying and wraps you in a beautiful cloud, which is but at no time too intrusive.
The bottle also looks mega beautiful and all in all, this fragrance is highly recommended for anyone who really wants to smell times exclusive and sophisticated oud.

Shouq... The longing for the Orient
After the first test I thought to myself moment I know that somewhere from and actually reminds me the opening in the first seconds of Alexandria 2. However, this impression evaporates very quickly and it develops a rose-oud combination which I have not smelled in such a perfect form before. The individual notes are perfectly coordinated here and deliver a beautiful performance with just a few sprays (3 in my case). After a while, the fragrance becomes even softer and the balsam rounds off the heart note once again very well.
After I have now tried some Orient fragrances I must say, this has potential to become my signature fragrance. The oud in Shouq is the cherry on the icing and dominates at no time the other fragrances, neither medicinal or animalistic and harmonizes very nicely with the sandalwood and the musk.
The durability is above average in my view and the bottle also looks very nice. Due to the fact that there is so much rose oud fragrances go such treasures unfortunately much too quickly under.
All in all, a super experience which I can put every Orient fan to the heart.
