Unexpectedly sobering
Anyone entering the world of niche fragrances will quickly come across THE high-flyer fragrance Delina. Extravagant, seductive, classy, a magnet for compliments, every man's olfactory kryptonite...yes, the reviewers were literally overflowing with enthusiasm.
It took me a relatively long time to finally test it. Perhaps intuition?

It has this lovely effervescence at the start, but this disappears for me within a very short time. After that, something emerges that I wasn't expecting at all. I don't know about you, but when I've smelled a similar fragrance before, my brain associates the scent so strongly with the person, situation or product from which I originally recognized the scent that it's difficult to form a detached image.
Delina smells like chewing gum to me. I smell my wrist and suddenly I'm 6 years old again. I was good when I went shopping with my mom and after she paid at the checkout, she put a flat blue package in my hand. It's blue and has a picture of a green alien making a pink bubble gum bubble on it. It's the Magic Gum that I love so much and I crackle happily to myself on the way home.

If I look at Delina independently of these memories, it's not a bad fragrance in itself. With its floral fruitiness, it conveys youth, lightness and carefreeness, but for me it is not as special and unique as advertised and I don't think the price called for here is justified. It is also very loud. Although I'm really not sensitive to it, it gives me a slight headache.
What a pity
