Oriental, fruity freshie with strong H/S
Dubai - Ajyal was my absolute favorite fragrance last summer. I was actually looking for a fresh, citrusy summer fragrance last July, but I immediately changed my mind when I was allowed to test this highly complex, oriental scent.

The fragrance starts very fruity with citrusy nuances and an oriental sweetness. Individual fragrance notes are very difficult to describe here, as many fragrance notes are perfectly blended into one another, resulting in a perfect, non-synthetic collection of fruits. Nevertheless, I think I can detect the candied apple and pear. One scent that I definitely notice here is petrichor, which really reminds me of the smell of rain on a hot summer's day and makes the fragrance seem slightly "green".

As the fragrance progresses, the oriental sweetness fades further and further into the background and the fruity notes are joined by floral ones. Once again, it is difficult to speak of individual fragrance notes due to the complexity. However, I find that the floral notes are perfectly unisex here and never appear feminine.

The fragrance ends in a drydown with an interplay of fruity and slightly fresh notes, musk and a light woody note due to sandalwood and cedarwood.

Although the fragrance is dominated by fruitiness, it never seems too synthetic or too sweet, as is the case with "Erba Pura | XerJoff", for example. For me, the fragrance doesn't have much to do with "Erba Pura | XerJoff", as the different fragrance notes in Ajyal result in a highly complex, non-synthetic fragrance composition that can't be compared with any fragrance I know.

The fragrance is also very wearable on hot summer days, as it never seems too penetratingly sweet and you are permanently "cooled down" by a light freshness. Even at 32°C, the fragrance never bothered me despite its strong H/S and didn't give me a headache. The fragrance stays with me throughout the day. So for me a durability of 10h+.

In conclusion, Ajyal is the perfect summer fragrance for anyone who is looking for a creative and complex summer fragrance and has no problem with sweet and fruity scents.

With this in mind: I'd love to try it for yourself and thanks for reading!
