Naturescent

I have absolutely nothing to do with Boss, just a suit from them in my closet.
Usually, I kept my distance from their bottle series, bad image, average quality!

I would finally advise Boss to realign itself in the perfume segment; this is a completely independent scent that has nothing to do with the original, thankfully!

Unpacked, held in my hand, and immediately I thought, oh my god, how "cheap" it feels in my hand.
The glass quality is incredibly poor, but it can get worse.
The cap has an absolute "Kinder Surprise Egg" appearance, who wants something like that, really bad, but it can still get worse.
The spray head is what we call in Austria a Klumpat (worthless junk) .......worthless useless stuff!!!
Fortunately, I wear glasses; when I tried to apply the scent to my neck, it sprayed in my face, I have never experienced anything like that, speechless!
The people at Boss should take a look at Lalique and Guerlain; what good is a nice scent in a bottle that looks like canned beer?
At the original price, I would have never bought it; I paid €58 for 100 ml, which is fair.
Sorry, I had to get that out, the bottle design and spray head are a clear "not sufficient."

Now finally to the scent!

It's simply "good."
An absolute blind buy candidate; at the right price of about 60 to a maximum of 80 euros, you can't go wrong.

When applied, incense and gas station, but after a short time, you veer off again; church and BP are no longer noticeable in the rearview mirror, and suddenly you find yourself in a wood materials store, and at the counter, you are served by Ahmed, who just put out his cigarette!

Something like that; I really like incense, but here you're only with it for a maximum of 15 minutes.
The rest is very balanced between woody notes, patchouli, and labdanum, with a slight sweetness always noticeable, making it totally rounded and perfect for the office and a date! The light oriental twist is also very successful.
An elegant smoke envelops the wood note, but indeed only very mild and pleasant.
A really good wood scent without the rough edges of Encore Noir and its flankers; therefore, in my opinion, a fragrance that won't disturb anyone, but is pleasing and even has a slight tendency towards niche.
Longevity for me is about 8 hours plus.
The next day, still well noticeable on the skin, woody tones with a sweet undertone. (Towards vanilla, but pleasant)
A successful alternative to Depp's Sauvage.

Category, when it's empty, it's empty!

Due to the packaging, it certainly won't be repurchased for my collection. Often, less is simply more!

This fragrance seems to be perceived very differently; I personally am, to put it mildly, "very enthusiastic."

I admire Hermes for bringing H24 to the market like this!
It's not mainstream, not niche, what is it?

A calm representative of the green faction, not heavy but buoyantly light, perfect for the upcoming spring and summer.

I immediately recognize the Hermes DNA after spraying it.
At first, there's a bit of lemon, but that soon disappears; it remains a linear scent!
The clary sage spontaneously reminds me of the good old Paco Rabanne pour Homme, just in a new and simpler form.
In combination with daffodil and rosewood, you get a calm, relaxed scent; if it weren't for the metallic note (Sclarene), H24 could also be from L'Occitane!
It is precisely this note that, in my opinion, gives it a special touch; I have never smelled anything like it!

H24 from Hermes does not want to be loud; no, it is a quiet and special fragrance!

Many renowned companies should take a page from Hermes; this release was bold and groundbreaking! It doesn't always have to be Sauvage, right?

This Hermes gives me a huge dose of calm and strength for many hours; I am glad to have found a young Paco (pour Homme) that fits this time but is indeed from Hermes.
With Paco, my wife told me the classic "You smell like an old man."
With H24, that has changed significantly; Jeremy was right once again.

The journey to this fragrance was not easy, rather complicated.
With a note in my head, I went for another round in one of the larger fragrance temples in my area, and there it was, top shelf, totally covered in fingerprints and almost empty.
You can guess, I already had the feeling back then that this wouldn’t work out for us!
The scent DNA was excellent, but the longevity was only about two hours!
The bottle had probably been sitting there for a while on the top shelf; I suspect the direct sunlight (glass temple) had really taken its toll on it.

So, what do you do when you like the scent but have doubts about the actual quality? After all, they wanted around 100 euros for the 100ml perfume in the store!
I am absolutely not a fan of sniffing around in the store, getting advice, and then buying online!
But with this fragrance, I did just that; the presentation and advice in the store were unfortunately very poor, and the online price was outrageously cheap, 49 euros!
So, it was almost a blind buy!
At that price, I took the risk; if it wasn’t a Mozart of fragrances, maybe at least a Salieri.

And what a Salieri it is! I still find it hard to describe this fragrance because I love it like I rarely love a scent.
I could do without some of my fragrances, but this one has become a part of me!
Hmm, describing love is really not easy, even though this fragrance is not complex!
This scent does not want to clash; it wants to please.
It’s not a “here I am” fragrance, no, you need to pick another one for that.
It knocks gently on the door, enters like a gentleman, and has learned what manners are.
Cardamom, powder, light spice, iris, a hint of vanilla, wood!
In a blend that always leaves me speechless and in love.
I think it fits perfectly in autumn or, like now, in winter when it’s not too cold, which unfortunately is no longer the case, so I can enjoy this special fragrance for a long time.
It should be mentioned that I still don’t know the original Declaration by Cartier. However, since it is viewed quite controversially, I have it on my list for someday.

Give this unique fragrance a chance; maybe it will win your heart too. All the best.

What a struggle I have had with this Prada scent!
It's like with David Garrett, either you like his music or you don't!

I bought it in 2007, then it sat at the back of my perfume cabinet for years!
I just couldn't get along with it, too clean, a bit too powdery, it simply didn't suit me.

By 2014, I seemed to be ready for Prada Amber pour Homme!
Now it's a fixed part of my small collection.
I see it as the perfect all-rounder for all seasons, except in temperatures above 30 degrees.
I didn't have it in my collection for a few months, looked for alternatives, but I couldn't get along with the newer Pradas (neither could my wife), so I bought Amber pour Homme again!
By now, I've learned that it's not necessary to always own the latest "crap".

Pleasant sweetness, not too intrusive, for me a modern Barbershop scent!
I have no associations with babies ;-)
Very good longevity, pleasant sillage.
Contrary to other opinions, I find it extremely suitable for everyday wear; this scent no longer requires a suit.
Casual chic is enough for me here.
By the way, I still can't get into Garrett's music!

This Prada has come to stay!

Mornings in the 80s, the door opened, good morning at the Eder Bauer..... echoed through the kitchen......
That was the postman of my childhood!
(In Austria, we refer to the postman as "Briefträger")
Besides good cheer, he brought the mail and always carried a very special scent with him.

For years, I pondered what kind of perfume it could be; at one point, I was almost sure it had to be Paco Rabanne pour homme...... but I became increasingly uncertain and decided for myself that no, that wasn't it either.
Somehow, it was too soapy and green.
When he left the kitchen, his perfume mingled with the scent of our country house kitchen plus the aroma of our homemade schnapps!
Every day the same ritual: mail delivered, schnapps consumed, a little chat, and off he went!
I don't even want to know how much alcohol accumulated daily.
Well, things were just different back then.
I liked this man; all those years he was always in a good mood, elegantly dressed, and Tabac Eau de Cologne was his scent!

I had suspected Tabac in this context for a while, but it was only through the comments here that I realized..... Not the EDT but the Cologne was his constant companion all those years.
Honestly, I had tears in my eyes when I got home and applied the Cologne to my skin!
There they were again, the good 80s and my postman.
Rest in peace.

A scent for eternity, it polarizes, but I love it!

I can still smell the scent on my skin after 20 hours!
