Blue Flowers & Ming Bling-Bling
The fragrance opens with a rich blue floral scent, strong lavender and velvety violet. This lovely fragrance is invigorated by the citric freshness of the shiso leaf known from Japanese cuisine. Soon the iris joins, whose powderiness is loosened up by the Shiso freshness. Lavender, violet and iris, that's all flower power. Where is the tea, the actual theme of perfume?

The Oolong tea, called as an ingredient, has less tannin and is more aromatic than black tea and represents the royal class of Chinese tea. During the tea ceremony, it is sipped from small cups in a highly concentrated form in order to enjoy the long finish - similar to red wine. Thé bleu, however, contains only a thin Western infusion, delicate flowery and hardly perceptible as a separate note. This turns it into a pleasing matte brown background lightened by musk, which connects the floral notes and gives the whole a creamy touch.

Thé bleu is a rather simple fragrance that unfolds in its entirety within a few minutes and then remains almost unchanged. Meanwhile, it is precisely this floating clarity that makes him special. A successful perfume with a wellness feeling.

In addition to this, the music skilfully plays with manifold associations to blue. Lavender as relaxation factor par excellence, the blue flower as a symbol of romantic yearning, endless sky blue, pure water blue and egg shell delicate tea crockery with Far Eastern motifs in Chinese Ming blue.

Zen. Quiet. Beauty. Transience. Eternity. Relaxation.

Tea on that.

The unknown green quartz
The name from the realm of minerals goes well with this complex perfume. A raw piece of quartz, for example rock crystal, grown on stone, looks chaotic. Large and small prisms point in different directions, above they are mostly crystal clear, below opaque. Only a longer observation from different points of view reveals the beauty of quartz, because new structures always appear.

In fact, the fragrance begins quite confused. The short, unspecifically citric opening immediately changes into a fresh cider note, which also ends quickly. Now a peculiar intermezzo follows, which does not fit neither to the opening nor to the further course. It is a contradictory mixture that is both pungent and dull and sultry, as if white pepper had been crushed with nutmeg and mixed with freshly cut leaves of coriander and black currant. Fortunately, this is soon gone and forgotten!

Now it will be pleasant. Galbanum makes the fragrance green and vetiver gives it spice, which is given an ethereal note by cardamom. Over it lies a fine floral chord. The narcotically sweet aroma of jasmine and something like lilac or broom gives the perfume that certain something and makes it extremely attractive.

After many hours, in which here and there an apple was peeking out, the scent shows new facets again. Heavy amber, powdery sandalwood and iridescent musk create an undertone that accompanies the green, spicy character of the perfume in an exciting way.

Quartz is not an easily accessible perfume due to its initial bumpiness. At first I disliked it, but after a few test runs I find it pleasant and even quite seductive, also because of its persevering discreet sillage.

Meadow Happiness
Like, just grapefruit, the usual citric prelude? No, it smells green and fruity fresh, more like galbanum with a fine pomelo, which is hardly sweet, not sour at all and only slightly citric. And it stays green.

Through a meadow of orchards with apples and pears we continue to a flower meadow with a multitude of flowers. They are not highly bred beauties from the floristry studio that flirt with their special notes, but inconspicuous flowers that grow wild. A few violets and roses may already be among them. The fragrance does not remain harmlessly floral, however, because in the background there is an interesting note of bitter mate tea, spicy hay and steely Moselle Elfling. This creates tension and lends temperament to the fragrance. The floral and astringency remains until the end, patchouli and sandalwood are only hinted at with a soft spice. The fragrance lasts longer than 8 hours with good Sillage.

"Natural & Pure" offers more than the worn-out name and the little known manufacturer would suggest. It's not a bland soothing wellness breeze that splashes around like a fountain, but a lively fragrance that makes you cheerful and perhaps even a little happy.

Journey to the land of the baker's flower
Bois farine begins surprisingly, even overwhelmingly. It smells penetratingly of damp flour, a little later of popcorn, fat-free and slightly salted, with a mineral, earthy note of wet clay fragments. Original is that undoubtedly, but portable or pleasant?

With time, the flour note becomes austere and stale, pressing it lies on the central floral chord. Dark iris root is accompanied by marzipan heliotrope, at the same time flowery light and powdery heavy. Gradually the cereal muffle gives way, finally letting the beautiful floweriness come to the fore. As a contrast to the violent opening, the fragrance ends gently and flatteringly. The velvety, sweet benzoe-guaiac wood mixture is covered with a hint of light flowers until the end.

Who doesn't like to indulge in travel memories! Mr. Ellena created a perfume from his impressions of the island state La Réunion with its exotic vegetation and the French-influenced Creole culture. With Bois Farine he has set a monument to the endemic flour blossom tree, which almost died out at the turn of the millennium, and created an unusual fragrance work of art.

Nevertheless I would rather look at photos of La Réunion and eat a pastry instead of perfuming myself with flour pollen. Or rather: travel there yourself and smell these extraordinary tree blossoms in the Botanical Garden.

The lightness of dragonflies
The fragrance begins fresh, fruity, aquatic, sweetish and slightly powdery. Mandarin? Yes, tangerine, one of the very small ones with a thin, watery skin. So the scent remains until it disappears after three hours. I don't smell anything from the list of ingredients, and I can't even recognize the iris theme.

So I try to understand the intention of the makers of the "iris dream". The name and listed ingredients of the perfume create the image of a pond with iris and water lilies blooming on the edge. Dragonflies dance over the water, a light wind sends the scent of flowers towards the meadow. There young girls in pastel lace dresses with ribbons and flowers in their hair walk between the trees.

Kitschy? No, dreamy! The perfume evokes the romantic country house style of Laura Ashley of the 1970s. A perfect world in a scatterbrain look. If you like it, this fragrance is for you.

Normally my olfactory perceptions are the starting point of my comments. This perfume had a poor base. Without the additional information I could not have said anything except the first sentence and that the scent is pleasant and friendly. That's nice of you.
