Top notch leather
Leather note, in my opinion, should smell like *someone wearing a leather jacket*, not the jacket itself, and in fact this is why I don't like most of the leather-forward perfumes. But this one is perfectly done -toned down leather, added greenery, and non-hippie-patchouli. There's of course some artificiality to the leather note itself but I get that in almost every leather-forward fragrances out there, so there's nothing out of the ordinary.
The official fragrance of urbex
First things first: this gives more or less the same vibes as
Rien Intense Incense and
Anubis -they are siblings, and 20Mars2022 is more like their distant cousin. If you like any one of these two, you may have a good experience with this as well (if not better).
20Mars2022 is a fragrance of contrasts: earthy but doesn't offer comfort, spicy but cold, animalic but only a whiff at a time. The florals are there but they're not overly-worked, neither indolic, they are just wildflowers in the background. On my skin, it's nagarmotha, cistus, vetiver, some animalic notes and pepper give the fragrance its character. I also smell something spicy green which has to be lovage. It doesn't change much over time.
To me, an urbexer, the whole fragrance is a picture of an abandoned amusement park, a factory or a locomotive graveyard. These places are perfect for casual strolls through ruins; among overgrown fields, wildflowers, trees. A whiff from the mineral fluids left at the factory. The sky is clear, the air is clean, temperatures dropping just enough so you don't sweat.
I haven't bought any full bottles in a long time but I think this may be it.

Temperature sensitive
I bought this after I tried their sample set of 8 perfumes only for two days (I know, a rookie mistake). I thought I would fall in love with Hexensalbe, which had been in my radar for too long, but instead, Mistpouffer hit me like the phenomenon itself that named the perfume. I was told at the store that Mistpouffer was initially being created as two different perfumes, and one day the perfumer just mixed these two and *varsågod*, a sweet but deep-in-the-Nordic-woods-earthy Mistpouffer came to be. But beware -this perfume works for me only when it is lower than 15 °C, at any temperature higher than that the smoke note suffocates the whole scent.
On a personal note, turns out they collaborated with Jens Lekman for this perfume, and his song for Mistpouffer was "I Want to be Invaded", but the first time I wore it was to the last show ever of our beloved kent -so for me this perfume is associated with the song "Kevlarsjäl" now.

Bottle is certainly a fail
I love the fragrance itself, it feels so bright and fresh but also there is some pretty balanced sweetness to it -not in a yucky gourmand way, more like sweetened elderberry tea... But the rollerball is scandalous, it falls off everytime I use it. I bought this size to try the fragrance, and because I've loved it, I'm going to upgrade it to a full bottle but it is still a good idea for the brand to produce this travel size with a spray.
