A Journey with Mon Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet
You are about to eat a big juicy, perfectly ripe, lusciously sweet pear, but right before you take a bite, someone wearing Mon Guerlain walks past you and you briefly admire the scent. Suddenly, you remember the pear and take a huge bite, savoring it. You unconsciously start following the scent trail of Mon Guerlain, noticing it from time to time, until you happen upon fragrant bouquets of flowers. While finishing up your pear, licking the juice off your fingers, you lean in for a long, luxuriant sniff.

My favorite from the Mon Guerlain line and I have tried them all!

Miss Dior made by Guerlain
I've tried this a few times in the store, but each time I lose interest for one reason or another. I think if they switched the bottles at the Dior two stores away, some people wouldn't notice. If they said, "This is the new Miss Dior flanker!" and tried it on 100 people, wouldn't a lot of people be fooled?
It doesn't have that much Mon Guerlain DNA.
They say it's sparkling and "pear sorbet", but it's basically a fruity floral fresh scent that's easy for women in their 20s to wear. This is certainly a nice scent, but I felt like it could only be worn by a girly woman from top to bottom, so I ended up not being interested in it.

If you want a more casual pear scent, I recommend Pella Granita. I'm not very interested in Mon Guerlain's flanker. It's not Mon Guerlain.

'Cause every time I see your bubbly face ...
To start right away: I find this flanker very well done!
This fragrance begins beautifully with a fruity sweet pear. Jasmine quickly emerges as well, but of the bright, cheerful kind. As the fruity top note recedes and is replaced by sweet vanilla, lavender comes in quite intensely, adding a spice to the cheerful jasmine-pear compote, without which this scent would have sunk into irrelevance for me. I don't explicitly smell vanilla as such, but a warm sweetness is consistently noticeable, which never becomes overwhelming.

What surprised me, however, were the reactions to this fragrance. Hardly sprayed on in the morning, I already hear next to me, "Ohhh, THAT smells really good!" from someone who could hardly care less about fragrances. "Oh, really that good?" I think and take a closer sniff. Later, after refreshing it again - the longevity isn't that great - I hear from a perfume lover, "You smell like ... mhh ... spring!". At least right after application, it seems to turn heads!

It's not demanding, but it is pleasing, that can be said. I understand where the Libre comparisons come from, but the vibe is definitely different, I think. Libre has a bit more edge, while Sparkling Bouquet is more playful and friendly. In terms of mood, this flanker stays true to the original and gets closer to it in the dry down as well. However, it comes across less sweet, but rather fruitier and more sparkling.

No revolution, but I had a lot of joy with this sparkling bouquet!

Floral Sweet Summer Scent
I have the "regular" Mon Guerlain and since I like it, I wanted to test the sparkling version as well. Sparkling already sounds good.
I don't smell pear. But the lavender in the opening is very floral and prominent.
As it develops, the vanilla becomes clearly noticeable.
It smells good when you test it, but for my taste, it's a bit too sweet. Somehow it’s already screeching, and that only fades when the scent stops smelling. What I mean is, it doesn’t fade away and becomes a soft sweet scent. It screeches and screeches and then it's gone.
Be careful when spraying on clothing, the scent is very oily and could leave stains.
After 5-6 hours, nothing screeches anymore, then it’s quiet in the box :)

A Poem?
The bottle is a poem,
but the scent...it is not.

Yet it has something beautiful....
Perhaps now is not the right time to test it, as I am currently mostly testing and/or wearing gourmand and/or spicy, warm intense scents, usually unisex fragrances.

At first, it comes across as quite fresh-floral-pure to me. Later, I would like it to be a bit sweeter, softer, because it then seems slightly austere. It smells to me like fragrant laundry detergent, a clean scent. Some might perceive it as freshly showered, but on my skin, it doesn’t develop as beautifully as expected. Or I would say it loses some of its beauty during the drydown. But the drydown lasts only a very short time, then it has already disappeared for my nose. It smells best on me when freshly sprayed.

I have experienced the following phenomenon with some of the fragrances I have tested: I apply only one scent to my wrists, occasionally sniff my skin, and find this scent not so great or not so intense anymore. However, when I move (e.g., outside), beautiful waves of scent come to me again and again. And I feel good about it...I am pleased. Perhaps it is similar with this one. I suspect that this scent really comes into its own in the sillage, so that others around us perceive it as truly beautiful.
Otherwise, it is a scent suitable for really any occasion and can be worn all year round, depending on preference.
However, I find that it is not really unique, so it will probably remain just a sample, because when it comes to uniqueness, I am used to much better from Guerlain, even if this scent surely does not offend anyone. But I want more, namely to smell beautiful (especially for myself, but also for those around me) and not just to avoid bothering anyone. Then I could also go through life unscented. On my skin, it lasts quite briefly, then it is gone and I cannot report any development. But in spring, I will continue to test it. And then it will show whether this statement remains:

The bottle is a poem,
but the scent...it is not.

Or maybe it is...

Two seconds of pear, then lavender flashes through briefly, before jasmine and a creamy sweetness overpower everything. I miss something special. Nice!

No resemblance to the original at all. Instead, it's a fabric softener scent that would be nice if it didn't occasionally sting.

Fruity sweet floral juice, thank goodness completely without Mon Guerlain's burnt caramel - and actually entirely without Mon Guerlain at all.

Jasmine and pear suffocate lavender. Only sparkling at the beginning, then a tired synthetic mainstream vibe. No need for Guerlain for that.

Clear Mon Guerlain DNA that unfolds ever more airy and fluffy; freshness and warmth in delicate balance; zesty and feminine.

First impression: very little sparkle and a lot of bouquet. If you've smelled it before, it has nothing to do with the Mon DNA anymore!!

First impression: Ripe pear, followed by barely recognizable Mon Guerlain DNA. Not fresh, but not bad either. Flowers? Uh, no.

I'm wearing a white dress with lace, picking juicy pears from the tree, going home, and washing my hands with vanilla soap.
