How many fig scents do you actually need?
The question came to mind after I already own "Philosykos (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque" and "Gris Charnel (Eau de Parfum) | bdk Parfums" and some others have already tested.

Nevertheless, I really wanted to test the "Parisian Musc (Eau de Parfum) | Matière Première" again. The fragrance I already knew, have him once briefly smelled in a perfumery and dismissed with the fact that he reminded me in the first impression too much of Philosykos. Have me then ordered a bottling here in the souk and wanted to follow the whole thing again.

How is the fragrance for me?

Clearly a green scent, it starts with fig leaf, has no sweetness and no fruit. To me it smells clean and dry. Not dry in the sun of dusty, powdery, it is rather the impression of dry wood.
To my nose, "Parisian Musc (Eau de Parfum) | Matière Première" is a clean scent with no citrus at all. The ambrette seeds I also clearly perceive, actually an ingredient because I usually do not like so, here, however, I find it fitting. Despite all the synthetics, I feel the fragrance is quite "natural", which is probably due to the fig leaf.

I feel the fragrance as unisex, would perhaps classify him a little more in the male direction.

The basic impression of the fragrance is rather distant / cool.

When would I wear it?

For me, a fragrance for every day and every season. Tendency such kind of fragrances would come with me rather in the spring / summer to use, but you can also wear in the fall / winter. Possibly also signature-suitable if you like fig particularly well. I must already have a desire for this type of fragrances.

Durability and sillage is super with me, in fact I perceived the fragrance again and again myself.

And now again to the initial question:
The similarity with "Philosykos (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque" is present, I feel the "Parisian Musc (Eau de Parfum) | Matière Première" but a touch creamier, just at the beginning. In the further course, they become very similar.

What you get is what you see
I have had the fragrance in my collection for a long time and use it sporadically. But every time I test it / wear it again, I ask myself why this is so.
Unfortunately, the original meringue Vole never convinced me and I would probably never have bought the Essence de Parfum without the tip of a saleswoman.

The fragrance has a simple floral-vanilla scent. The first spray seems quite intense, but after a few minutes I smell a loosely bound bouquet of lilies with vanilla. The lilies smell quite authentic, the vanilla could be a bit less artificial, but in combination I find the fragrance successful. On my skin it develops into a delicate creamy scent
I don't get a headache from this scent, which is not at all uncommon for me with flowery scents.

The fragrance has a good silage, never becoming too obtrusive and the durability is mediocre with me, lasting much longer on clothes than on my skin
