The topic of sexuality, fetishes etc is very popular in perfume marketing but very rarely does a scent actually deliver the theme. I have tried several scents with a latex note and must say that Safe Word is the boldest and dirtiest (in a good way) of them. It opens with a leathery saffron, but latex is the headliner, staying from the opening till drydown. There is a subtle sweetness (vanilla, perhaps) mixed with plastic and funky animalics. There is also a smoky, almost gunpowder quality to it. Very unique and strong perfume for a dominant character. Despite the intensity, it is very playful - perfect party scent, especially a naughty fetish party :)
If you want to smell like latex or kinky/fetish aesthetics - look no longer.
Longevity and projection are powerful, so a few sprays are enough.
The perfumer did a great job, and the name "Safe Word" is very fitting :)
