doorstep, dressing table, vanilla sauce
this fragrance is an unusual composition that is adventurous and yet remains down-to-earth. ELDO has managed to create a fragrance that is approachable and at the same time idiosyncratic. the symbiosis of sometimes quite contrasting fragrance components reminds me of the moment when, after an active stay outside in the dry cold of a winter's day, you just enter the warm cozy house (where the scent of vanilla sauce still hangs in the air, but also subtly mingles with the smell of the medicine cabinet) - the transition from cold to warm, from extraversion to introspection, action to calm.
when i spray it on, the first thing my nose recognizes is the cool peppery note in harmony with the vanilla. the latter awakens a slight feeling of pleasant nostalgia in me, but is neither overly sweet and dry nor ingratiating - together with the red pepper, pepper leaf and camphor, it creates a dry, fresh character that somehow seems confident and defiant at the same time.
another memory that the fragrance awakens in me and that i have not been able to shake off since is the sharpening of a pencil lead - the freshness of the dry cedar wood paired with a graphite note. then there is the (really very authentic) red paprika, which resonates fruity in the periphery and gives the whole thing more "joy".
i only perceive the prune at a homeopathic level, if at all.
i find this perfume best suited for cooler days, as the vanilla orchid (at least on me) otherwise plays too much in the foreground and almost gives me a headache. on cooler days, the vanilla stays in the heart without dominating, flattering the cooler, fresh notes and giving them more play, while incense and patchouli give the whole a subtle but round base.

intoxicating, mysterious, wicked and at the same time shrill, dangerous, animalistic.
before my inner synaesthetic eye, it appears as a deep orange penetrating ray of light against a coal-black background.
this fragrance definitely has the potential to offend, and that is exactly what it is supposed to do. however, it only works if it is worn with confidence.
i affectionately refer to it as my don't-fuck-with-me scent - and i use it with a purpose, because it's great for intimidation. the perfect signature scent for a domme, i've often had this image in my mind.
even if i consider many fragrances to be suitable for both sexes, contrary to conventional wisdom - hellcat is for me the expression of something very feminine.
and by that i mean precisely those aspects of femininity that have always been secretly or overtly considered dangerous. i'm glad that witch-burning is outdated, otherwise i would probably have to fear the stake as a wearer.
