A light, gentle mandarin on a date with a resinous sweetness for me
I really like Clandestine Rendez-vous, even though the sweetness seems quite familiar to me.
The special twist, however, is that this fragrance also has a gentle, light mandarin at the beginning. The mandarin is therefore slightly fresh and I like that.
For me, however, the sweet part of the fragrance takes over relatively quickly. In my opinion, however, it comes across as rather resinous and sweet. The labdanum definitely starts to make its presence felt here. This pleasantly balsamic, slightly dark and ethereal scent always smells good. I am a fan of labdanum and for me it is generally one of the most underrated fragrances!
Labdanum is really the heart of the fragrance. For me, the note lingers until the end and the mandarin is then relatively quickly no longer present.
In the base, some cocoa and amber are added.
I even had the impression of smelling some benzoin, but I was apparently mistaken.
What fragrances am I talking about at the beginning of the review? Well, this kind of sweetness reminds me of a JPG Le Male Elixir or a Paco Rabanne 1 Million Royal, for example.
All in all, it's a very good fragrance that you can try out.
